  5. So another year another mudfest. Anyone else there this time over? Here's a rough list of who I saw (as much as I can remember off my head and ordering might be a bit off) Key P- Pyramid Stage O- Other Stage JP- John Peel Tent C- Cabaret tent Friday The Cribs O Modest Mouse O Amy Winehouse P The Magic Numbers P The Coral O Rufus Wainwright O Arcade Fire O Arctic Monkeys P Saturday The Pipettes P Guillemots P The Heights JP Biffy Clyro O Marcus Brigstocke C Maximo Park O Editors O The Killers P (problem with speakers so left half way thru set) Iggy And The Stooges O Glen Wool C Brendan Burns C Sunday Random bands on the Radio 1 stage in The Park who's names I don't remember Nina Conti (and Monk) C Andy Parsons C Bill Bailey C Dame Shirley Bassey P Manic Street Preachers P Kaiser Chiefs P The Who P I also saw a lot of stuff at the Jazz World stage when I was drinking Brothers Pear Cider but I don't remember much of them except Rodrigo y Gabriella because they were supporting Muse at Wembley the other week. I also saw quite a few other comedians at Cabaret stage but cant remember their names. Was a pretty amazing weekend. Arrived on the Wednesday and pitched up in the camping site by Lost Vagueness which is a big higher than some of the other places and less likely to flood but there were already loads of people there, loads more than last time that's for sure. The weather managed to stay nice for the first day which was good to sit back and relax with a 2l bottle of my favourite tipple but it turned pretty nasty over the next few days. The mud was pretty grim but all the welly sellers seemed to be happy with their extra takings hehe. No pics from me however, dropped my camera in the mud :( (was only a disposable tho) I'm still pretty tired so ill probably update this with more stories if this thread stays active but for now i shall open it up to the public and fellow revellers. :D http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/glastonbury/
  6. Also I want to add that [perhaps the reason why you've been going off meat recently is because you've been on the skimp and getting all your food from a large supermarket. Go to a real butchers, farmers market or a farm shop (probably not many around in brummy like there are in the west country but worth a look) and get some quality organic and local meat. I had the most amazing steak only a few weeks ago which I got from the butchers it was wonderfully thick and the knife just went thru it like butter and it tasted so great. Dont be tempted by the pork sausages for less than a quid and go to the butchers and get some meaty Lincolnshire's or something. Beautiful. Its local and quality meat that turned my friend back from a veggie into a meat eater again, its ethical and tastes delicious. Why eat skanky quorn sausages which taste like the box of a cereal packet when you can help your local economy and eat some tasty local food produced in a much more ethical way (save the slaughter of the animal, and even then will be done better than the way Tesco Value chickens are reared and killed for example).
  7. You don't have to either be a meat eater or vegetarian. Just only eat the stuff you like and if it happens to be meat then so be it. If you like bacon sandwiches then eat a bacon sandwich don't just not eat meat full stop because you want to be a vegetarian. Eating a balanced diet is the key to a healthy life and while you can get lots of good meat substitutes you really cant beat a bit of fish and some beef protein. I eat a log of foods with no meat it in and there's some really amazing vegetarian dishes out there but I could never completely replace my meat with a substitutes, some of it just looks and takes like a cardboard turd.
  8. Like for example, a sequel that's got Rico in it?
  9. A firewall will only stop the communications getting thru by default and anti virus will only pick it up if its been flagged as malicious. most keyloggers are variations of legal programs and thus the only real "anti keylogger" is common sense.
  10. Norton AV (not internet/security suite) ZoneAlarm Pro Spybod S&D Adaware Spyware Guard SpyBlaster and common sense

  16. Just like there is a school i saw a documentary of that's basicly tents in the middle of a forest. Just because it strays from the norm doesn't mean its all because of pedophiles. Get a grip, you are believing the media hype.
  17. At 13 in the UK you are not allowed a proper job and nor do you need one at your age. If you don't want to do a paper round you'll have to wait 2 more years to get minimum wage doing something else
