  1. Lately I've had some trouble with other people using my computer. I always left it logged in on the admin account since I had never bothered to make another. Well, everyone who used my computer had this thing about messing with my settings, changing my background, digging through my personal files, installing random crap that wastes HDDR space and possibly contains spyware/viruses, etc.. One person in particular would go running to my parents every time she found something she thought was inappropriate. So.. I created a limited access account for everyone but me to use. I put a password on the admin account (and made it private) so that nobody but me (or my brother if he needs to) can access it. I understand with limited access accounts, they can't see any of my files but they still have access to some of my programs. I logged onto the limited access account and noticed there were some programs that didn't show up on the list. So I have a few questions.. Is there a way to block certain programs so that the limited access account cannot use them? Is there a way to block the limited access account from installing any programs? Is there a way to block the limited access account from downloading things online? Thanks, and I might have more questions as these people start messing with the new account. I'm sure they'll find new ways to piss me off..
  2. 4 years is a third of your life? [\quote] I think he meant the life he had lived, not the life he has yet to live. Anyways it nice to hear things like this. Though 4 years with a stranger and he never tried to escape.. If I was that kid, I would have taken any chance I could get to kill that man or escape..
  3. MWAHAHA Using your age, country and now your forename - I can track you down and slaughter you. Remember, you can't spell slaughter without laughter. Now Cad can make a, 'What's your last name?' thread. You know what's crazy? You and a few other TIF users can find my exact street address! I didn't put any limits on what you guys could see in my Facebook profile :P

  10. I'd like to be awarded a Medal of Honor some day.. Though I'd like to be alive when it's awarded to me. However that was a very honorable way to die.
  11. I like it when teachers do things differently and they positively affect me. I don't, however, like it when the affect is negative. Example: Algebra (freshman year): My teacher didn't collect any of the homework until the end of the chapter and then only graded it on whether we did it or not. So, write down some answers and get an A. I actually did the work most of the time, but it was still nice to know I could fake an assignment if I didn't have the time to do it. During class she would spend a few minutes going over the assignment for the night before and a few minutes for the assignment for the current night. If we didn't want to pay attention we could work on our homework instead. At the end of the first semester I had a B. (Using 1st semester for comparison) Geometry (sophomore year): My teacher collects assignments in sets of threes. I'm busier this year than I was last year so I often skip assignments in order to work harder in a class I feel is more important (or I have a lower grade in). Well, skipping one assignment brings my A for that set down to a D. So while I'm working hard on another subject, I'm slipping in another. To make matters worse, I'm having trouble in geometry and I absolutely hate my teacher. I've always been given time in class to work on my assignment, and now my teacher spends the entire class going over what we're supposed to do. I could easily read the chapter and get to work on my assignment in the time it takes her to explain it, but if we don't pay attention to her we get yelled at. She will literally take 30 minutes to explain what I could read in 10 minutes. Then she'll let people ask questions and hold us after class to answer them. At the end of the first semester I had a C.
  12. I don't reccomend them. They have nice products but oh lordy are they overpriced.

I'm pretty sure my mom's aunt is addicted to the gum. She started chewing it when she wanted to stop smoking a few years back.. She still chews it all the time now.
  15. I have a quick question about the new scenerio.. Does each operation cost $1,000,000? Or do they all have smaller prices?
  16. How much was it? $1300 I won't be buying Alienware again. It runs well and it nice for traveling but the HDDR is kind of small and it overheats pretty easily while gaming (unless fan is well exposed to air and clean). Next time I buy a laptop I'm going to get a decent one from BestBuy with a bigger HDDR. I don't do much gaming anymore so I almost feel like I wasted quite a bit of money back in March when I bought it..
  17. Ditto Ditto Ditto...Ditto Ditto Ditto... Why Europe, why not Australia? Because Viktor is crazy about Europe ;) (literally  )
  18. I don't think forced marriage is right. I might go out with a girl if our parents set us up on a date, but I don't think it would work out since I'd rather be the one to find that special someone. If they tried to force me to marry her.. Let's just say I'll be somewhere tropical and I won't be giving out my address ;) Edit: Off topic.. 2300th post :
  19. It's really simple once you get used to it. ;)

I'd wager that almost every satellite navigation user has, and nowadays that's a lot of people. But satalite navagation is legal and most people mount the on the dash in direct line of sight. With a phone you need to keep the cops from seeing it so you need to take your eyes of the road to see what your doing. In the United States, cell phone use while driving is legal. There's a few places to have made it illegal, and I think more places need to. I've seen way too many people run red lights while dialing their phone.
  23. Plenty of exciting things happen in a basketball game as long as you pay attention and understand the game well. It's even better if you know someone on the team personally.. And I've seen a ref get headbutted during a wrestling match on TV. It wasn't live but it was still on tv. (It was either high school or college wrestling, none of the pro crap). *sigh* Women's basketball is just as exciting as men's. I just got back from a girl's high school game and it was awesome! My friend is the star player so I suppose that helps keep my attention, but it was a great game all the same. Lot's of fouls, elbows being thrown, fastbreaks, ect. Oh and maybe your high school players can't dunk, but our boys team can ;) Your country is full of big people? Unfortunatly this contry is full of obese people. I've never been more than a few pounds overweight and when I have children, I won't let them become obese. No sense in wasting a perfectly good body. I don't like to watch soccer because I just find it boring. I used to play soccer when I was younger and my coach could do some pretty neat tricks but that was all that kept me interested.
  24. We have more entertaining things to do.. Like watch our nations leader try to pronounce "nuclear" ... :
