Danyo
Approximately 7 months ago, Tip It researcher Manoman, AKA Who Le Ow, posed a question, or rather started a quest, to find out what the maximum weight you could have in Runescape. Now, I have never met him, but I have always been intrigued by his thread, Maximum Weight Possible. After seeing how close to 1000 kg he came, he's had the goal of getting there. He looked everywhere to find the heaviest items possible, going so far as to discover that addy is the heaviest of all metals. Well, Who Le Ow, I did it. Due to an unknown bug, i was given a base weight of 61 kg tonight. I've yet to figure out how, but I was given it, and so, I set out to complete his quest. Following his method, everything he had on him, down to the location where he announced to the world. For you, Who Le Ow, here is proof that you do not strive in vain: And here is the reason I made it there: And to wrap it up: EDIT: I just went to the werewolve agility course to test Who Le Ow's warning to never try the death slide with that much weight, ever.... The results were: Failed- 27 damage Failed- 5 damage Failed- 9 damage SUCCESS So, once again it can be done. Gugge
And here is the reason I made it there: Yes, there is currently a bug with the weight. Sometimes when you bank stuff, you keep their weight. Logging out and in seems to fix it. I have seen on the official forums that other people have reported this to Jagex. Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)
Danyo
yea, noticed the thing about logging out. I logged while writing the post, and lost those crucial kgs. When I was doing it though, I made sure I didn't log out in case something like that happened. Nabbagad
Thats a lot of weight, why don't you have arrows or bolts, and a ring, im sure that would increase it more. Who
Hehe, a topic named after me. Well, without the weight glitch it can still be done. Like people have said, Barrelchest Anchor, Dagganoth gloves, boots, Diving Apparatus, and both Granite top and legs should get 1017. But... Danyo
Yes, well, when i did this, I was unaware of the new data discovered in the world of heavy things. For some reason, unbeknown to me, Who Le Ow stopped updating his main post... and Ignorantly I thought there was no new heavier items, otherwise, I would have definitely tried to get at least 1075... :-w "How you act when no one is looking is the clearest indicator of the strength or depravity of your true character.
