April 5, 200719 yr Yea just post what you think is the best song and album of 2007 so far. Just make sure it was released in 2007, no best of albums either. Feel free to explain why you think so too. Thanks, and I hope to hear some stuff I haven't heard yet. Song: Intervention - Arcade Fire (just not the CD version) CD: Don't know many good CDs released yet, so I am going to go with Wincing the Night Away - The Shins Visit my DeviantArt Page at http://vladmoney.deviantart.com
April 5, 200719 yr Tricky one, and it's only April :P Two of my favourites so far have been: Myths of the Near Future by the Klaxons. It's a cracking album, lots of great songs to sing along to or put you in a good mood. Neon Bible by the Arcade Fire. I know these guys are hyped a lot, but I really do think this is a great album with some great songs. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
April 5, 200719 yr The best album WILL be the new Paramore CD. -I'm a Parahore.- Quest Cape Achieved February 14, 2007. -Not Maintained-1700+ Skill Total July 15, 2009All Skills 60+ - July 26, 2009 Drops: dragon - medx8, spearx1 ;; 3rd - helmx1 ;; barrows - dhaxex1, gspearx1, dhhelmx1
April 6, 200719 yr At the moment I'm 'crazy' about: Grinderman - Grinderman Arcade Fire - Neon Bible Neil Young - Live at Massey Hall '71 (One of the years best releases IMO. Such a fantastic registration, great that they're opening the NY Archives) Timbaland - Timbaland Presents Shock Value Zita Swoon - Big City (Not one of the best albums this year by far, but still a great release, especially with the good weather coming up. ;) And a little attention won't harm) And I think the best album so far is Arcade Fire - Neon Bible, and the best track of the album would be Black Wave (huuu, what an amazing song) Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
April 6, 200719 yr Hm... don't know right now but I'll bet that it could be possible the album Metallica's recording right now to release this year OR next year. First - Credit to Otbg . Second - Credit to 4be2jue

April 6, 200719 yr It changes with me every week. I mean, right now, I'd push a strong case for Mika - Grace Kelly  Smeg save me. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
April 6, 200719 yr I haven't really heard anything that blows me away yet, but there's a new Genitorturers album and a new Haggard album planned for this year that I can't wait for. My biggest dissapointment so far is Therion - Gothic Kaballah -.- My Tip.It Times Articles (10 and counting) || The Varrock Library Author Index projectDo you dare to dream? - Part 19 added. || The Hospital (WIP) - New story!Necromagus looks like a viking ... with glasses.
April 6, 200719 yr Damn I can't think of anything for 2007... I was going to say Blind Guardians 'twist in the myth' but that was 2006 >_<.
April 6, 200719 yr Song: Deathlike Silence - six feet under the ground Album: Deathlike Silence = Vigor Mortis Their debyt album and it for sure sounds better than any other debyt album has sounded for few years. If miracles don't happen, we'll hear about them in future. I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm
April 6, 200719 yr It's too early, hip-hop (as usual) has only be getting garbage from the rappers who just come and go. The best album in my eyes will be Dr. Dre's The Detox (or possibly Eminem's next album). As for best song, I'm not quite sure. :-k ...
April 7, 200719 yr Mika's "Grace Kelly" for song, album is Year Zero by Nine Inch Nails (not actually out over here in Britain now, but I've heard it and it rocks) Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.
April 8, 200719 yr 2007's been pretty lame so far :P "Metal isn't about violence or faggy whiny lyrics. It isn't even about who plays the heaviest and fastest. It is about invoking a sense of wonder and magnitude that no other genre can depict."
April 8, 200719 yr Alright scratch what I said earlier, just got the album 'Unia' from Sonata Arctica released this year. man... its a ton better than their others. A bit darker and now near as 'flower metal' like as some. Its a good album. :)
April 9, 200719 yr Well in my opinion, nothing good has come out of modern music. Everything is a huge gimmick and mostly nonense. The late 50s however presented musicians with distinct voices and catchy songs. Most modern music FTL. And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid. John Lewis is a great, great shop.
April 9, 200719 yr Now that is nonsense. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Thank you.
April 9, 200719 yr GAH! You claim the late 50s produced catchy songs and unique singers? What about 65-85. Possibly the decades most heavily littered with brilliant artists and catchy songs. Also Bubsa, what's with all the Red Dwarf colloquialisms. @_@ Edit: Don't want to derail this thread. I think this "Mika" has some talent. (I'm not aware of whether or not Mika is a person, or band. I haven't actually seen any videos.) Mika's stuff is a bit deviated, and I thinks Mika's songs are pretty easy listening. :D
April 12, 200719 yr Tricky one, and it's only April :P Two of my favourites so far have been: Myths of the Near Future by the Klaxons. It's a cracking album, lots of great songs to sing along to or put you in a good mood. Neon Bible by the Arcade Fire. I know these guys are hyped a lot, but I really do think this is a great album with some great songs. Hell yes, Klaxons are mad, their lyrics make no sense but that adds to the greatness Good thieves of burning cars encircle poisoned rivers minds and hearts, horses wanna dance but find their wings are damaged water damage gold is selling well so hurry mighty ocean rising fast a big man with a plan has got a strom a coming monster coming riiiiiiight =p Kaiser Chiefs album is also good anyway, other than that only album i'm looking forward to is The Pigeon Detectives alubm, comes out in May i believe, only other albums would be any new stuff by kooks, razorlight, fratellis, and klaxons of course Sig by me....
April 13, 200719 yr I'm not aware of whether or not Mika is a person, or band. I haven't actually seen any videos. MIKA is just one guy. Video's aren't that good, so you aren't missing out Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

A bit darker and now near as 'flower metal' like as some. Its a good album. :) Hah! I was thinking after listening to it that it's their weakest album so far. Well, maybe it needs more listens to sink in but I'm pretty sure most songs are nowhere near as complex and melodic than some of their older ones. The only songs that I liked on the spot were Caleb and For the sake of revenge. Also: flower metal?... Not sure I wanna know what you mean by that. : P This puts me in mind of the new Nightwish album that's soon to be released (in May). That's certainly gonna be one of the biggest surprises of 2007, pleasant or unpleasant, that remains to be seen. : P "Metal isn't about violence or faggy whiny lyrics. It isn't even about who plays the heaviest and fastest. It is about invoking a sense of wonder and magnitude that no other genre can depict."
April 16, 200719 yr F*CK YEAH! Add Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet to that list. My favorite so far! Oh, and Anesthetize would be best track so far. :o And although it's a compilation, Nouvelle Vague's entry in the Late night Series that got released in february is pretty cool as well. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

The late 50s however presented musicians with distinct voices and catchy songs. Most modern music FTL. Every generation has ALOT of bad musicians. *cough*grateful dead*cough* But the mid 60s and the 80s were arguably the best. Most of which was because they created most of the styles of rock/brought it to the U.S. (Beatles fw! :XD: ). But as for my vote, I have none. I's far too early and nothing great has really come out tbh . YOU! ATTEND TET EVENTS! CLICK HERE!
April 18, 200719 yr The Good, The Bad, and The Queen is probably my favourite so far, I haven't enjoyed many albums from this year. La lune ne garde aucune rancune.
