I've read through many topics of "How Did You Choose Your RuneScape Name" and such topics, but it seems that I've never stumbled upon a topic that asks the question: "How Did You Choose Your RuneScape Hairstyle/Clothing, Etc.".

 

 

 

What is the reason behind your choice of hairstyle/hair colour, clothing/clothing colour(s), jewellery, etc. Do you base you RuneScape player on your own self. Maybe how you wished you looked (yeah, who doesn't want pixelated white hair). Maybe you don't really have it based on anything in particular.

 

 

 

Whatever the reason, post them.

I have black clothes and hair on my character, as that's pretty much like me irl, except that my hair is dark brown and NOT rasta. Might change my char's hair to the longest one sometime tho.

 

 

 

But yea, it's based on real life for me, pretty much. :)

I chose green hair becuase its weird

I just made my character to look like he does cuz it looks cool.

When one of my best friends used to play, we made our characters identical. I kept the hair but changed clothes to red after he quit, looks better with red dragonhide. When I get 70 ranged (hopefully soon, see my goals thread in sig) I will change again :)

I made mine to look like the charachter Legolas in the Lord of the Rings movies. :P

My character had first that pointy yellow hairstyle, so he would look like Cloud from FFVII :mrgreen:

lol i had the exact clothing clothing color and hair style :mrgreen:

I've changed my character's appearance quite a number of times in the past. When I first started in classic, I chose the appearance that might resemble me as closely as possible (brown hair, blue shirt, black trousers). Then I joined a clan where everybody looked identical, and had to change my look to join.

 

 

 

After I left that clan, I went back to my original look, and then a couple of years ago I changed to white hair, and experimented with the flare trousers, and the ones where they are tucked into the boots of the character. I also liked the baggy shirt, and eventually chose a blue shirt, and beige trousers... I think my character looks pretty cool like that.

I chose the white ring of hair because it amused me, and then added a large beard. For clothing, I gave him black clothes as I tend to wear black all the time.

blue clothes long-ish black hair (kinda [bleep]y). brown-ish skin. most looks like me. i think i like it's look. i never see it much though cause i'm always wearing a costume :P.

i have had the same still sense i first got it....long green hair with long green beard....light green sleeveless shirt with those shoulder [bleep]e things....the metal wrist things....and dark green pants...b/c i just like the look

Originally, I made him look like Link from The Legend Of Zelda. Then I changed it. I guess it would've looked something like this, I'm not sure, since I made the Link-look back in Classic.

Mine fairly resembles aragorn in LOTR. Not that I meant it to I just thought it was a cool mage type hairstyle lol. I used to have these weird color orange/reddish outfit which didnt go with my shirt so now I wear black although my fav color is blue lol.

My character looks like me sorta' but I made it with white hair, not black, since I've been playing since the beginning of RS...yet I took alot of breaks lol

At first I wanted to be a priest, so I chose the "monk" hairdo with the stip of hair. Then someone called me "baldy" when I was still a noob in f2p, so I decided I didn't like that 'do any more.

 

 

 

So I went long, blond hair. (This was before the graphical update when they changed the way girls look) I looked like a guy off some random sword 'n' sorcery movie.

 

 

 

Then I was training prayer at the chaos temple, wearing monk robes, and some guy ran up and said "Do you want to be my gf?" :oops:

 

 

 

I changed to brown hair with a beard fast, and that's what I have to this day.

I based my character off of the druids in Taverly...white everything. 8-)

i just clicked randomly, so now i have long sleeved magenta shirt with blue disco pants, then white hair and short beard lol.

lol i changed my hairstyle quite a bit but my clothes look a bit dumb so i'm gonna change them to blue pants orange shirt....hair is purple in a bun i just think it looks cool.

I've changed my style a few times, but I really just go with what I think is the least common setup. Whatever makes me sorta unique I guess lol.
