flamestrike Posted April 7, 2007 Share Posted April 7, 2007 If i leave a knife in my glove compartment or something just incase i do need to use it and i get pulled over and they ask if i have any weapons and i say yes, can i get charged for carrying a knife? I may be wrong though, just make sure you inform the officer of it. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference. No. The Criminal Justice Act 1988 says you can only carry a folding knife with a blade of less than 3 inches that is not capable of locking. What you described could include 2 inch fixed blade knives, flick knives, butterfly knives, throwing knives, double-edged knives etc. - all of which are illegal. In the united states, in some states you can carry a gun around consealed with no permit and no one will yell at you, in some states you need a permit and in some you cant carry one at all. Generally it all depends on how liberal the state is, but to awnser your question I would need to know where you live. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. It's about a 3-4 inch blade, and it locks, but it's not flick. It has several blades such as knife, saw, leather-puncher, and can opener. It was always OK, the kids who did that were the farmers mostly. A lot of the teachers carried them too. I took a pocket knife to school everyday. Different places react differently I guess.
