Nice, guide. But, with the 'poor' outfit you do one chest right? I have done over 150 trips with just monkfish and was wearing rune. Only had problems with replenishing (or whatever you write it) my runes I have 70 defence and it works fine. I also don't use any prayer potions, so that isn't needed as you mentioned :wink: But, you might wan't to take a combat potion. Very handy :P

 

 

 

Yea, but its risky. At 75 def, Verac hit double 23's on me time after time. And Torag and Guthan hit very high. =|

Made 4.7M in a week using this guide.

I'd like to add one thing; you can use safespots with the salamander. Read this guide first. With some little practice you can still use all the ladder. just stand in one of the corners of the ladder first and let the brother attacking you from the north or the south, so he stands next to the ladder. Then move one step east or west, so you're north or south of the ladder and the brother is right west or east of it.

 

The same works with the stones, which you can only use in the north-south tunnels. (I hope this was clear.)

In my opinion, your guide seems pretty spot on except:

 

I think it would be more fitting to use Torag's helm, only -1 mage penalty but about +20 defense. (Poor outfit)

 

Also, I think it would be a good idea to bring "Normal Sets" of potions (Normal Att, Str, Def), easily bought at the Warriors guild.

Good guide. My barrows setup is quite similar to the poor setup but I use a torag helm (Good def for 200k) and a unholy book (for prayer and attack bonus).

 

 

 

I also take a defence potion for verac, torag and guthan. They only cost about 100 coins from warriors guild but easily save me a few monkfish.

Hate to rub it in but the run after t pl8 i got a v helm muahahaha

I sold my guthan and spent all I had on a green mask, so I borrowed T pl8 and V skirt from Gizmo. When I found out how good it worked, I decided tp pput it in my guide.
