I'd Like to point out that a rune chainbody works very nicely instead of the platebody (in your rune section) and I use it when I'm inbetween barrows sets.

 

The chainbody is only worse in stab and range. Which is guthan and karil, and they don't trouble me much and the extra 15 magic bonus compared to the platebody helps ALOT.

 

 

 

Anyways, the jist of that is I think you should add that the rune chainbody is a good option at barrows.

I have a question, Since you've driven me to get 70 fletching to get the cash to buy the items in your 'poor' outfit, I have a question. Since I dont want karils and I'm gunna replace it with black d hide can I also replace karils x bow for a rune c bow with mith bolts (e)?

Covers everything that needs to be covered and plenty more, and you have proof to back it up.

 

 

 

btw: Arkano, rune crossbow with emerald tipped mith bolts enchanted works great on Ahrim even with ranging lvl 61 and red dragonhide armor.

Levels that you need and the strategy

 

70+ Magic. (Hits higher)

 

70+ Range. (In able to use Karil.)

 

50+ Prayer. (So that you can kill Dharok, Karil and maybe even Ahrim all with prayer.)

 

60+ Attack. (70+ Recommended for using whip.)

 

65+ Strength. ( Again, 70+ recommended for getting up KC.)

 

70+ Defence. (Imperative if you are going to kill them no prayer, which I'm assuming you are since you are reading this guide.) Now there is a little bit of a change here. If you have 80 or lower Defense then I would suggest brining a Torags plate for using against Verac and possibly Guthan.

 

75+ Hitpoints. (Needed so you can survive.)

Taken from the Black salamander strategy. VERY big mistake in this. For Black Salamander you need 70 Attack 70 Range and 70 Range. You say 60+ Attack. If you only had 60 attack and someone was trying this they'd be pretty mad finding out they need 70. And It's really annoying seeing it wrong...

I get 15 or 16, its proven that above 10 KC gets batter loot then below, but after 10, there is no difference.

Thanks. But, a suicider is pointless, you would NOT make it past Dharok. And Karil would kill you very fast also.

No problem. Remember, ice burst freezes for 3 hits. Ice blitz freezes for I think 4-5 and Barrage is 6 I'm pretty sure.

actually there are a few more safe spots which not many ppl know and even less ppl use due to the risk involved. tip it guide does mention that they are aware of it but didnt go into detail due to the risks. it is actually using the skeletons in the room as a safe spot by luring the brother to one side before quickly running over to the other side...i suggest trying it out with the other monsters first before using it on the brothers. it is not difficult actually...just requires a little practice and as there are skeletons in so many rooms it will enable you to save a dose or 2 of pray pot. ive used these safe spots to kill dharok plenty of times :)

agreed with what saru said, and also i always try to spawn dharok in a safespot connecting tunnel or room with ladder or rock, so using ppots aren't needed. But that'd be interesting to see how it works.

Yea. Thats fine. But when you run out, use X Bow if you can. Or, diamond (e) bolts work very very good.

I forget who, maybe Satenza way long ago, proved that getting a kill count above 10 helped your drops, but above 20 it didn't matter. I either do 10, 13, 15, or 16.

got a question saruman..

 

 

 

was wondering how many ice blitz that you used on average?

 

 

 

Cause i wanted to count the difference using ancients and syaler darts.

 

 

 

on average i used 70 slayer darts.. and i am level 76 magic..

 

 

 

i know that ice blitz wil save me money in terms of less food being used but using chaos instead of mind is quite a big jump.

 

 

 

And i seem to have trouble topping up my deaths from the chest. i keep gettin blood but no death. so i buy my deaths..
