are chaos gauntlets and bolt (chaos) spells ok?, incase you don't know chaos gauntlets makes bolts sells hit like blast spells.

 

 

 

Please note i'm lvl 85 and i will be useing prayer pots.

 

 

 

EDIT:I have tried 2 barrows trips, succeeded in one and the second ran out of prayer pots with dh in tunnel and died.

 

 

 

EDIT2:I did not sell the flail for 550k, thats how much i had after is sold it. I know it's poor, but i'm hoping doing barrows will increase my cash to around 10-20m after like 50 trips

What about rune xbow purely ranging (not ur rune way) purely ranging. Prolly rune xbow w/ diamond e bolt. I used to do that when I still played.

Dude, doesn't matter if you despise it, 55 in ANY skill is pretty easy.

Since you bring prayer potions, Im guessing you take a sip every run. I never took a sip a barrows ;)

 

I use veracs method but i also use slayer dart for melee brothers. First Karil and then Ahrim with melee and then range respectively, and then dh with dart (all with pray). I normally have like 10 prayer points left so i waste it on veracs and use no safespot.

 

P.S. If your wondering, what if dharok appears at chest!? :(

 

 

Turn run on and turn autocast off. Keep 1 clicking on him and running back to the red square. He'll just stay at the yellow square.

i do full mistic with fire bolt and chaos gloves about 4 pps spade and rest monks and I can do a trip pretty fast without buying all this fancy stuff.

Nice guide, very detailed. I can see you chucked in a few up to date pictures. But theres a fair amount of editing needed lol. Don't think Karils top+skirt is 250k any more, miss those days :P

I absolutely agree. However, if you can't tell, my guide is more directed to the pooorer versions. And while SW cape/Fire capes are easy to get cheaply/at low levels, 99 coooking/fletching is easier to get for son. And I prefer the look of skill capes.

Great guide Saru! Although I realize it is under construction, I'd just like to point out a few things.

 

- Be aware of what you are risking before you go down there. I know it seems obvious, but the Staff of Light does not have a very high value and will usually be lost on death unless you have some extremely cheap gear.

 

- The Staff of Light special is incredibly useful for killing Dharok without prayer. If you have Dharok in the tunnels, you may only want to spec Karil 3 times so you can use the Staff of Light special when you find Dharok in the tunnels. No need to use a prayer pot, just kill him like you would Guthan or Torag.

 

- Somebody else already covered the capes: SW cape, Fire cape, and God capes are better than trimmed skillcapes. However I prefer the look of the skillcapes as well. :thumbsup:

 

- A holy wrench is helpful to bring for a few extra prayer points per dose.

 

I'm interested to see the end product once you are done renovating. :thumbup:

Ahh, how i love my SoL! But be sure to add a Battle robes setup, im getting those ^^ My friend has them and hes only using Ice barrage/blitz, he does like 60 chests in one trip and use no food or prayer pots, hes not getting any ks either and relying on speed to easier get barrows items. He looses about 30k? per chest but he can do very many a hr. Last time he did it he was looting chests for 3 hrs and profited 12 mil.
