I did the bridge on my second try. The first time I did it using the suggestion of taking one step at a time, I made it all the way across. After I did the quest, I hung out and killed the Skeleton Fremmys just seeing how many people made it. Over a two hour stretch, I saw maybe 10 people make it across. I'm soooo glad I did it quickly!
