Deiophobus
pretty well written guide, I only have 1 or two suggestions. You could add the prices of seconds, because alot of them do have a good market. And, I wanted to add my person method of collecting fungi. Requirements: 50 construction Canifis portal in your house Alter in your house (preferably close to the portal) Done nature spirit (duh) You need house teleport runes, or house tabs. Where boots of lightness and a spotted/spottier cape. This works best with 50+ prayer Teleport to canifis through you house (blue dot), and run to the red circle. Around there are 3 logs together, stand where your blessing will hit all of them. Its random how many it will get fungi off of, but it will always be at least 1. If you're low prayer it would be good to bring a prayer pot/super restore. When your inventory is full, teleport to your house, recharge your prayer, then teleport to canifis. Bank, and repeat. :)

Or(depending on how much you value them) you could use prayer pots to restore prayer and such. im looking at better fairy ring teleports as there are more than one to mort myre swamp but i cant test any yet. theres also the possibility of bringing 5-15 imp boxes if you have high prayer but not enough to inis two loads at the same time. lavaownz: it would be great to read over all of the suggestions posted so far and add them one by one, posting a quote reply on them when you finish. keeep up the good work

12pure34
Completely read your guide! I love it. I found out about the abberents a few days before I read your guide though ;) they are great. I always drop herbs below taramorin or sometimes harlander. A few ideas which you might want to work out (some are rubish though): Potion prices Which potions are 'to easily powertrain' Which potions are 'economic' to make (break even or profit?!) Also, north of ardougne is the best place to kill chaos druids to my opinion, in the blood rune tower. (requires some thieving) But it is lovely, as the chaos druids are VERY close to eachother and using the log-shortcut, it is close to a bank. EDIT: Lumbridge RFD chest is a great place to waterfill your vials to. Easier banking, easier watersource clicking. Try it! It is even better! curmudgeony
You also might want to mention using salamander tars for exp from low level "junk" herbs like guam. The amount is higher then the pots, and tars are a monster drop .
Moonlapsed
Some errors: Quick Herblore tip for making serum 207 (requires shades of Mor̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ton and I recommend you do in Aid of the Myrque) Gather 12 Tarromin, 12+ water filled vials, and 12+ ashes and make 12 serum 207. Combine them to make 9 four-dose potions. Then head to Mor̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ton and use one dose on one citizen. They will award you with something. It can range from logs to coins to a tinderbox. What you really want though is Tarromin that they give you. Make these into more potions and you will be able to continue doing this. I found that if you start with 9 four dose potions, you will end with 12+ herbs so you will always have more than you started with. This method is cheep and affective up to the upper 40s. Cheap and effective The next spot is in Ardrouge General Store. You can easily get to the bank, so you do not need teleport runes. Many people go hear so you will need to hop often. Here The third, and in my opinion the best spot, is in Shilo village (Shilo Village quest needed). The bank is very close, but the odds are you will need to hop. Also, there are normal vials hear that you can buy also, so this place is good. Here TIP: Using magic sectors (from Fairy Tale part 1) increase your amount of herbs by 10% automatically giving you a minimum of 4 herbs when you farm. Secateurs A final note of getting herbs there is one herb that is not quite an herb but used that way: the starflower from fairy tale part 2. You can get this by going to C-K-P on fairy rings. Wait a few minutes and plants will grow. Pick them when the grow tall enough and you will have your flowers. They Alternatively, if you have glories, you can use Betty (the magic storeowner) in Port Sarium. She sells them at the same price as Taverly. It is faster than Taverly if you use glories. Sarim NOTE: for potions, unicorn horn needs to be crushed, so simply use a pestle and motor with them Mortar These can only be obtained a few ways. One is killing monsters like Hill giants or Hobgoblins. Another way is to buy them from free play for around 1k each. Finally, you can plant them in the flower patch. It takes 16 minutes for them to grow and you guaranteed 3 Limpwurts. you're You see 50 chocolate here, but that is only if you beat the full Recipe for Disaster quest. Note though there is a lot of competition for chocolate here, so you may want to try the shop at the gnome stronghold. Alternatively, you could just buy them from the forums, but there around 600+ each. They're The white square is the respawn. The blue line is the path you follow, the orange lines are traps and the maroon square is a leaf trap. The pink dots are dire wolves. The respawn is quick (every few seconds). Also, if your70 mining, there are a few adamant rocks (5 I believe) so you can get those before you fill your inventory. Do be aware, there is a trap before you reach those. You're The final way is through the wilderness, but I do not suggest it because the respawn is on red dragon isle but you are surrounded by dragons and pkers. However, it respawns at the same speed as the one n the Elven lands, so it is an ok alternative. In The newest edition to Herblore can be found by going into the desert and killing goats (obviously). Each time you kill one you will get a horn. The easiest way to get these is to take the carpet to pollivinch and slightly north, there are 3 goats. You can either bank by going back through the shanty pass or use the house portal and have your butler bank. Pollniveach I would find more but Its kinda boring reading through the guide and c/p the errors here, not to mention that I'm only in the 8th grade and most likely missed a lot of errors up to where I stopped. The amount is higher then the pots, and tars are a monster drop . Actually I only find this true for Guam tar. I usually burn all of my marrentills on my altar, ashes are easier to get than tar (for Tarromin), and chocolate dust is easier to get than tars (for Harra). Not to mention, energy potions rule! Need assistance in any of these skills? PM me in game, my private chat is always ON

You would probably get around 5 each, meaning you would get 25 horns, + 2 water and 2 laws + a "good" drop or special attack weapon. NOTE: Because of the demand I will be working on a guide to making money in herblore, but it may take a little while, so dont expect it until wednesday at the earliest. Achilles1515
actually there is another way of obtaining snape grass which is the fastest in the game but does have its requirements first off, you must have only started Fremnik Trials quest so that that one person in relekka will bank your items in your inventory for you. Second this does require a lot of money, but will certainly pay off in the end. So what you do is pay the dude at the dock 1000gp to take you to that one island where there is tons of snape grass around the edges. Then you just collect a full inventoryand go back and the man will bank all your snape grass, but before you talk to him, just drop your money on the ground for a second so that he doesnt bank your money. So the 1000gp you payed to ride the boat will be gained back in just two snape grass which will give you a profit of 25 snape grass per trip im pretty sure. Then just keep repeating. It is very very fast snape grass and can be very profitable if done for a long time.

atestarossa
very nice guide!!! =D> =D> just some few things, as others have said, that should be added. for example prices of herbs/seconds/vials, and of cource the finished pots. would help a lot for the ones wanting to break even or earning money on the herbloring. where you writes what to train on, try to make it a little easier to understand, the text is clashing a little with eachother there. but as i said, this is a fablous event, actually the best herblore one i've ever seen... and i really think that it should be an AOW guide, as this would be very helpful for people training herblore, as there is not really a good guide about training it out there... well.. just congratulations with making such a good guide, and it's good that you still is updating it with additions posters give =D> =D> =D> =D>
HoboMedjai
As I'm currently raising my herblore level this guide is pretty handy :) 2 small ideas/remarks though: 1) in Nahdar (the dessert city) there's a shop that has 25 chocolate bars in stock (never crowded as far as I saw :D) 2) when killing Salarin I always slaughter the Druids too. This shorten the waiting time and dropping the low level herbs I always end up with a decent batch of high level herbs :) Hope they helped ;)
Kama
Hey again Lave. I hit 76 herblore yesterday and have a few more tips I though would help your guide a bit. At my current level it is becoming seriously hard to get a constant stock of vials for my potions. With that in mind I have been working out various ways to get a large supply at once. Here are a few pointers on gathering vials: 1. The Fastest Method: Catherby farming shop. You mention this one, but you missed a large part. You can empty the vials on the way to the sink (between the shop and the bank) and then fill them there. This averages 27 WFV every 72 seconds. 2. Entrana herblore Shop. Take the hot air balloon to Entrana buy vials and fill them at the sink in the shop, then duel ring back to CW. This averages 27 WFV every 75 seconds. The cost is actually cheaper than using the catherby shop method because vials are less expensive then plant cure. (Entrana vials cost 810gp less per trip, more than compensating for the duel ring purchase). You can also yse a yew to get back to CW, but that will cost you 300 per trip, about the same as a duel ring (300 x 8 trips is 2,400), and the added time is not worth it. 3. Buying Attack potions. I have purchased literally 3,000 attack pots for 200gp each. This is the same price, or cheaper than WFV on the market. Just empty and fill in the Lumby basement like you mentioned. 4. Another free but slow way is to get on world 18 edge and just pick them up. The PKers drop them all over. Part 2 - Seconds: 1. Newt Eyes: You can get these from the Entrana shop using the above method as well. It is also faster than the 2 methods you mentioned. 2. Unicorn Horns. You made a mistake on your Unicow drops. They drop green sachels, not Addy ones(although they might look a bit addyish). They have not sold for over 500gp since the first week of the Tower of Life Quest, and should be dropped, as they dont stack in your bank. (you mention a poor market for tea flasks as well, but they are actually untradable) The tower of life 'beats the pants off' the wildy collection method. Bring a charged glory and tele to Edgeville, bank then use the Fairy Rings, code DJP, to get right back to the tower. You can even kill a few cows near the Zanaris ring if you are running low on hides. 3. White Berries. The wildy spawn is great. Just bring boots or lightness and a glory. You can glory tele to Edge from lvl 30, so it is actually quicker then collecting in the Elven lands. Also, make sure to use a crowded world. The spawn rate is significantly faster. These days there are also a lot more green drag killers out in lvl 40 wildy, so you are pretty much safe from pkers. They see you with nothing or a drag slayer with loot, and they go after them. Also, if you aren't skulled, you keep your glory, and can run back to pick up your white berries. PKers leave them. Hope this helped. 12pure34
Still loving the guide A few things I have noticed: After some gathering of unicorn horns myself, I suggest taking 10 cowhides instead of the 5. They only drop 2-4 unicorn horns most of the time, the UniCows. With around 10 hides, you get an almost full inventory (not even full :( ) Another thing, cave crawlers are decent as they hardly require any walking. Put on rune armour and bring 2-3 trouts. If you get poisened you can heal from these if it is really nesecary. But you get a full load of herbs pretty fast as these die a lot faster then chaos druids! Using the fairy rings, you are at a back within .. seconds. You can use a anti-pot there. Also, you can heal your health with cheap trouts there to. (trouts as they don't cost jack, you can often get dozens for cheap prices or for free from other players/friends) So really, they aren't that bad. Also, they drop lots of marentils, which repays for the anti poison. They are great for level 1 - 39 herblawers. Nightshade. Isn't there a spawn during the watchtower quest. I am pretty sure there is. In the northern cave, between CW en yanille. I am pretty positive there is. Must have started Watchtower quest and have the map + a lantern. But it works :P And a last thing about vials. If you are training crafting in any way, you can make them out of molten glass! Some of us use the lunar spell to make lots of molten glass for easy crafting and magic experience. Instead of selling these, use them to make vials for extra crafting experience and ofcourse, easy herblore experience. Buckets can be gotten from Bert and seaweed, well.. if you can buy a batch cheaply or gather it yourself, your set!
Kama
Nightshade. Isn't there a spawn during the watchtower quest. I am pretty sure there is. In the northern cave, between CW en yanille. I am pretty positive there is. Must have started Watchtower quest and have the map + a lantern. But it works :P Yep there is one. You can get the map piece back as well after completing the quest. The spawn is very slow thoguh, so bring along some alchables and high alch away until you have a full inventory of belladonna. you can make them out of molten glass! Ouch here man. Bad suggestion. Molten sells for 1k each. That will buy you 5 vials per molten. making vials is only 35xp per molten as well, so a pretty poor use of training time. 12pure34
you can make them out of molten glass! Ouch here man. Bad suggestion. Molten sells for 1k each. That will buy you 5 vials per molten. making vials is only 35xp per molten as well, so a pretty poor use of training time. It is an option :P as molten glass hardly sells. But it is a bad option, unless you do not care about money and do care about some 'free' crafting experience.. Hm, o yes. There is a vial shop at the 'general store' at morton's. Although far from good, if you have completed In Aid of Myreque and Shade's of Morton, you can use that shop and bank in Burgh da Rott. A bad store, but always has the vials stacked in 100. So if you cannot use the Hot Air balloons, this would a 'bad' alternative to the always crowded ardougne and taverley ones. But still the cheapest way remains farming. You could add the 'farming round' to your guide to soully farm herbs. I have been doing it for the last couple of days and found it a lot more fun then to do watermelons and flowers to. Just herbs is perfect! \ And profitable! A 5 minute round for.. usualy 20-30 herbs of your choice
nephite
You also missed the option to collect herbs from the kingdom of miscellania.
