unorclan
Draynor Manor Ah, here we are - Draynor Manor. In my opinion, the most creepiest and mysterious place in all of (f2p) Runescape. But...whats so creepy about this place? Is it the chairs that follow you around? The piranhas in the water fountain? The alive skeleton in the closet? The vampire in the basement? The talking witch that wanders the halls? The insane scientist upstairs? The waiting woman outside the gate? The strange tasting cabbage on the Manorgrounds? The attacking trees scattering around the house? OR the auto-locking front door?I am here, exploring and researching the legendary Draynor Manor and finding its secrets! FACTS: *new discoverys will be posted in red* - The talking witch that wanders the halls of the Manor owns the piranhas and planted the cabbage on the grounds - There are bathrooms and kitchens in the Manor but very old and dusty - There is a hidden room behind the bookcase in the study. - The hidden room has a master bed, 5 empty wardrobes and a table - There is a ladder going down underground in the hidden room - Down underground is a basement full of rats, spiders and gates. - possibly some type of prison - There is a bottle of poisen in the kitchens storage room - for the rats...or people!? - There is another room/basement down some stairs on the first floor - The 2nd basement has a coffin, hundreds of candles, and red drapings. - Before doing the quest there was a Vampire in the coffin - Count Draynor - Theres USED gallows on the Manor Grounds - clearly someone has died - There is a grave stone just a few feet from the used gallows and upon examining it says "Here lies Guy, he told a lie, so we swung him from the gallows high" - There is a Belladonna Patch just south of the strange tasting cabbage - There are 2 (f2p) quest that are done within the Draynor Manor - Vampire Slayer and Ernest the Chicken So... There are still many questions that need to be answered, so I'll need you guys's help (the people reading this) to give me other clues and answers so we can dig up the history of this house. Eyrelex
I always thought Count Draynor (the vampire in the basement) was the owner :-s, if you talk to the scientist upstairs he'll say that hes just a tenant and that the count in the basement owns it. Check out my Pocket Slot idea!

Well, that solves that mystery. If you ask me, you're just trying to create a thread that will gain in popularity like the "Investigating the Wise Old Man" thread and eventually be featured on the Hot Topic. My recommendation: if you want to get a really popular thread going, come up with your own idea for thread. Make it unique, not just a spinoff of an existing thread. I'm 100% free-to-play!!! aoe325
Heres a line you must add/edit somewhere, it has been known for a long time : - Draynor manor is home to a weird, funny smelling, evil cabbage. This is no normal cabbage for it doesnt grow, but spawns from the ground! Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

mememe513
I think that the gallows are related to the grave, which are related to a member's quest. The gravestone reads:"Her lies guy, he told a lie, so here he lies" I think, it may be a LITTLE different

Freesia
You are supposed to dig up a skull from the grave near the gallows in draynor manor during fairy tale part 1 as a assigned task from Malignius Mortifer. Hence the "guy" that was hung on gallows must have some relation to Malignius Mortifer.. :-k Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. I think this idea is cool, investigating the history of certain places in runescape. Just because its investigating something doesnt mean its a rip-off of the investigating the wise old man, but i geuss investigating stuff is now taboo in your eyes. I didnt kno some of that stuff on there:p the skeleton was maybe the guy who was hanged? My WoW character, gnome warlock Saldomar
