Idk about mem quests, but only cuz i'm 100% F2P

I always thought Count Draynor (the vampire in the basement) was the owner :-s, if you talk to the scientist upstairs he'll say that hes just a tenant and that the count in the basement owns it.

 

 

 

Well, that solves that mystery. If you ask me, you're just trying to create a thread that will gain in popularity like the "Investigating the Wise Old Man" thread and eventually be featured on the Hot Topic. My recommendation: if you want to get a really popular thread going, come up with your own idea for thread. Make it unique, not just a spinoff of an existing thread.

 

 

 

I think this idea is cool, investigating the history of certain places in runescape. Just because its investigating something doesnt mean its a rip-off of the investigating the wise old man, but i geuss investigating stuff is now taboo in your eyes.

I'm torn between the two. Personally, since none of that which has been posted so far is particularly shocking I'm inclined to believe what magician said. I mean:

 

"- There are bathrooms and kitchens in the Manor but very old and dusty"

 

 

 

How's anyone supposed to react to that? It's comparable to someone making a thread called "Discovery: The Sun!" saying

 

"- The sun is made of flames, but the flames are hot and yellow."

 

 

 

All I could think of to say would be 'Ok.' :P

 

 

 

On the other hand, it has the potential to be interesting... only so far, that potential has not been realised.

There is a members quest that is invoved with draynor. It involves someone named ava I think, who also only apperes on members servers. I forget the quest name.

The quest that is members in there is...Animal Magnetism. There is a rift thing upstairs in members too that has some..light creatures or something in it. #-o

The scientist also has a gate to another dimension, filled with thundercloud like electric slayer monsters and that all in a very disturbing dark area with many sudden flashes of light.

 

 

 

Also, in the master bedroom you can start the animal magnetism quest. And upstairs you can find the very mysterious magic flute, which you really need to find the holy grail!

The guy that was hanged is the guy thats buried in the backyard, and you can dig up his skull which means they can't be the same guy since that skeleton has a head.

I came back from a long break, just when faldor, barbarian village and draynor manor had been updated. Got a nice suprise with the chair...i was trying to atack them! :uhh:

The grave next to the gallows is one of the possible places that you can find Bob the Jagex Cat during the Tale of Two Cats member quest.

 

 

 

There's a box of fish food on the second floor that you can use to feed your pet fish.

yay...interesting enough, investigating the wise old man is dumb, to me anyway. Although I think this is cool...I prolly won't take the time to research on it =P srry.

I really don't know what to say... I want to say that you are just copying the Investigating the Wise Old Man thread, but other people have said that, and it doesn't seem to have sunken in..

 

 

 

Another part of me wants to say that this could be fun, and that people will spand a year and a half on it and it will reach 70+ pages, but things don't change much in Draynor Manor, there isn't much to it... and your list basicly says just that..

Excuse me, but how would you react if i sent you a mail with a guide called "what is life", and inside of that guide there were stuff like:

 

-The sky is blue

 

-The sun is yellow

 

-When you kick a ball it moves

 

-When you get kicked it hurts

 

-and so on

 

 

 

You would feel insulted, right? Then, your discovery list is the same thing. Also, do you realise you're talking to a lvl 67 and a lvl 100+, who have much more experience of this game and know much more than you? I don't want to start a flame war over this, but you look like if you really wanted to insult people not only with your discovery list but also by flaming people who don't like it. No one likes getting flamed anyway, specially by such obvious things.

 

 

 

Oh, and if you don't like to read what other people say, because i really doubt you read my other post (because in that case you wouldn't be able to say anything, it's such a good argument IMO) then you should leave these forums, because forums are based on that ^^

Therefore i'll help you imrpove your list with my own knowledge.

 

 

 

-The owner of the manor is count draynor. He's a vampire. Vampires are all just like dracula: they turned themselves against gods and got punished, they turned to the dark side, and the dark side is death and destruction: that explains why all the trees around the manor are dead trees.

 

 

 

-The draynor manor is a home for many real life legends: Count Dracula (count draynor), Frakenstein and his creator(ernest the chicken and that old guy with pointy hair) The countless doors castle (very old story, i doub tany of you know it, it comes from the medieval ages, and that castle was a huge maze with doors exactly like in the manor's maze in the basement, but in the castle there were stairs too)

 

 

 

-The chairs are looking for their owner or the last person who sit on them, thats why they follow you: they want to know if you are the owner or not (i've already seen something like this in a movie)

 

 

 

-The skelleton inside that room behid the stairs must be from a real life legend too...

 

 

 

 

 

But seriously, there's nothing much to say about the manor...
