There is nothing immature about playing this game as an adult. I have always loved role-playing games. I was one of the early generation of pencil & paper Dungeons and Dragons players back in the 1970s. My love of role-playing games is what drew me to RS.

Ah...the memories of the good old days of D&D. Pushing 40 myself and I am hooked on RS!! You should get your wife a laptop and show her the RS way of life...LOL. My wife and I each have our own laptops and sit side by side while we do battle or work on finishing quests.

I'm 24, played on/off for about 4 years. Currently training on Main/Pker/Staker. All this on one character. I have no 99 stats but certain skills are all over 70+. :thumbsup:

i am 18. started playing when i was 12, i no lifed it on and off from 12-15 then took a year almost out, came back and been playin now and then, nothing compared to what i used 2 be like

This is based on the average age of all of the ages submitted to this thread so far.

 

 

 

All you have there is the average age of a Runescape player who is also a member of Tip.It and is prepared to divulge their age to the Tip.It community. i.e. nowhere close to even approximating the average age of a Runescape player. Something which this post is going to emulate quite well. It would have been better to ask "How old is the average Tip.It'er", or something similar.

 

 

 

For what its worth (not much, given what I have just said), I'm 38, and started playing RS 2 years ago.

I am 38, been playing since Dec 2004, My wife plays also (albeit not as much as me) she's 33. Oldest guy on my friend list is 71. He started at 68 yo, and he's in Norway. Nice guy, enjoys a little RS, beats watching jeapordy. I return from Iraq in 4 days, havent played in 8 months due to my deployment, looking forward to catching up :)

By the way, I think the average age on Tip it Forums will probably be higher than on Rs. Don't ask me why, I'm too lazy and busy to explain it all right now -.-

If I didn't know better I'd say about 10-11.

While I imagine the *average* age of players would be in the 14-16yr range, I know LOTS of adults who play... have even met people in their 70's that play!! :shock:
