Half Keys - Loops more common than teeth?

Maybe it's just me, but about 80% of all the half keys I get are loops.

 

 

 

Also, most of the time, when I see people selling halfkeys, it's usually loops, rarely teeth.

 

 

 

I'm curious, does this happen to everyone as well?

Happens to me, too (but not so often now, because I don't get them very much anymore :P). I also had to raise my prices for tooth halves when I bought them.

I usually get about the same amount of teeth as loops.

Yes, loops are much more common. I usualy have at least twice as many loops as teeth.

I always only get teeth... maybe it's just because I mostly get my half keys from randoms... :-k

Usually had four times as many loops as teeth. Maybe they are more common :-s

I get many more loops than teeth halves as well.

well because of the gnome restaurant mini game that mini game gives about i say 5 loops to 1 teeth

i dont know what you all are talking about. i've had 10+ teeth sit in my bank at a time. i find it hard to get loops.

Not for me i guess, always the other half of the key as a drop when I get a half. Occasionally when i had 2 loops, the next one is definitely a teeth

Well, I seem to get more teeth then loops atm. But I think the prices say enough. Loop halves are worth 15-20k, teeth halves 25-30k. So yes, I would say loop halves are more common.

well ive gotten 2 loops from randoms and 3 from monster drops...

During my abby hunting I've been counting all the rare drops I've gotten. At the moment I got pretty equal amount of loops and teeths. I believe it's 50/50, but you gotta remember that in a short run you might gets loads more of one type when you got 50% chances to get 2 different items.

Yeah, I typically get loops more often than teeth... Currently I have 7 teeth, 12 loops in my bank :(

seems like some people get alot of loops and others get lot of teeth, drops are random but with half keys it doesn't seem so :x

Maybe a strange tought, but maybe each Runescape character has a different droprate. Like 50% has 1 teeth on 3 loops and 50% 1 loop on 3 teeth. They could've done that because they want people to trade them.
