Yeah but you've got to admit you are spamming. Just look at some of your replied to post in media. In two years i hat 7,500 posts.... at your current rate youll have over 40,000!!!!!!!

yea, it's a shocking idea lol. At the moment I do post alot, but that's because I have time (holidays). It'll cool down. Going on vacation soon anyway, so it'll drop.

nope, i could care less if my post count was moved to 0. I do think that more posts is more trustable though.

Not on this forum, on another one though. I just come here to relax, I don't even play RuneScape, I just come to the 'Off-Topic' section and Media Board. I don't even follow my post count.

Well, it doesn't matter that much but it's nice looking at the post count number every now and then and say "that's a lot of time spent here". I had about 6500 spam-free posts at like rank top5 (not that it matters that much, but at least I didn't spam). Now I have like under 100 posts... I guess that's because I just post regularly and I started using scapeboard a long time ago. So I'd say 50-50, it's not necessary but it is a very fun thing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Though, I miss the old database because it had posts dating back to even 2002 summer (when I still used to play rs) and it had the domain old.scapeboard.com which was from very early 2002 when I signed up. It also had some posts from people that will never come to runescape again (or have even died, SIW39 etc.- rest in peace) and from some old legends, PK'ing legends, smithing legends, famous merchants, so many things that would be nice to see again.

 

No, all postcount does, is make n00bs post too much, so mods need to delete their spam.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

mods never delete they move to a deleted section. that way every post is logged and recorded so admins can search for persistant offenders.

 

 

 

However the downside to this is that the postcounts are never decreased :P

Market board stuff used to be deleted on scapeboard, dunno about here though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Post count is just a petty thing for me. Currently i think that anyone who has over 100-200 posts it's worth remembering their name, on scapeboard is was like anyone who had over 1k posts lol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I don't think about trying to raise my post count, I just post when i've got something to say...

I think a lot of people will say no... but they really do care.

Its alright, doesnt matter much. I dont exactly strive for higher post count, but i like to have a high one.

I care more for the recently extinct West African black rhinos then I do for my post count.

It's not really a big deal for me... I remember people by how much I see them... People like: MPC, LP, Knives, GhostRanger, darkrick, Nadril, Axe, Gold, Navyplaya, Vlad, Shadow and some others stick out in my mind because I see them post often and they usually have quality posts too...
