My older brother told me about it, so I started to play. He started to realize that everybody who plays it are mostly idiots. I am starting to realize that as well.

I was playing many free Internet games on some sites, and miniclip.com was one. I kept getting annoyed by the RS ads, so I clicked on it to see what all the fuss was about (RS at the time was #1, before the stupid Club Penguin game). That was February '06. Here I am now, semi-addicted, and all because of ads (NOT AIDS).

 

 

 

Oh, and I got annoyed by the Club penguin ads and its being #1, so I tried it out (with the clutter of telling them your email, sending a confirmation code, and blah blah blah). Turns out you can only do like 7% of the game without paying, and since RS has 33% of the game without paying, I typed in a little curse, and immediately quit/got banned. Plus the people who play are such idiots.

I started playing about six years ago, during a period when I was heavily into online browser based games.

 

 

 

I was playing games such as Planetarion and Imperial Conflict and was hungry for something that moved me away from text based games. RS was the answer.

 

 

 

I joined at the tail end of classic I think, so I wasn't too far behind the pack, so I was able to get stuck in without feeling too far out of touch.

my freind told me when he was lvl 20... i started playing got addicted raced my freind to 30 cmb i won... lol found a site with autos on it use a auto wcer for 40 wc lvls got banend made a new acc never used autos again then got 80 cmb 10 mins ago i started like 3 months ago

I actually don't remember how I started playing :?. It probably had something to do with one of my friends.

A friend put a gun to my head.. I mean a friend told me about this game

 

and i told my cousin..but they both quit before Rs2 came out...

a few of my friends showed me the game right after rs2 came out i started playing it

my friend showed me the game but helped me so much i was hardly doing anything so i thought it was stupid

 

 

 

decided to try it a few years later and kinda stuck

Been playing since '02. My friends all started, I'm like, hey, I gotta see this.

my friend said that this was a great game so i decided to play it and after that i was dueling whith my friend to be better than him (i am better at the moment :D :D )

My brother and his cute friends played.. so I joined... :D then they quit like a week later..so... #-o

 

 

 

But I still kept playing....then got bored of it once it took forever to level again..

A couple years ago everyone in my school was playing it and i wanted to be popular :P Now everyone quit and im a geek :(

I remember one day at lunch, 2 of my friends were talking about runescape. Heres how the conversation went:

 

 

 

person 1: Dude what level are you?

 

person 2: Im still level 20

 

1: Dude, i've been playing rs 3 months less than you have and Im level 35.

 

Me: what are you guys talking about?

 

2: Runescape

 

Me: oh. is it fun?

 

1: Yeah. you should make an account, us 3 can start a clan!

 

Me: ok, i will this weekend

 

 

 

I made an account, we made the clan, but i just recently quit the clan.

Me and a friend got into a argument of wether Runescape or Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne was better. Having been playing Warcraft at that time I decided to try Runescape. That's when I got hooked.

 

 

 

I had played Runescape before that but it was off Miniclip and I thought the only area to go in was the Lumbridge swamp. :wall: #-o Which is why I was arguing that it wasn't very good.

 

 

 

Needless to say now I'm back to Warcraft cause Dotas are fun :thumbsup:

a few of my friends were talking about rpg's like FF. a friend said something about runescape and said it was really stupid. i asked what the website was, he told me. i started playing and got hooked.

Well ever since the Legend of Zelda I've been a crazed RPG addict. Just was googling top rated RPGs some 4-5 months ago and find RuneScape. Despite the average to lack luster graphics or other miniscule less enjoyable tidbits, I'm shocked of what I've been missing all these years :shock: ... RPG crazed enough for you :XD: ?

back in november '04 my friend came over and showed me this cool site called runescape. he kept asking people where to get flour and im like "theres so much stuff to do in this!" i didn't even mind the grahpics. few months later i quit for 4 months to play some rts game (age of empires rip-off) then i played rs for a few months then i played that rts again. then in like april of 06 i just stuck with rs

rs was popular and i heard a lot of people talking about it back in 03, so i wanted to see how it was like.

I saw that it was the #1 game on Miniclip, so I decided to try it.
