Hi this year on christmas will be my 10TH YEAR OF GAMING i just noticed this when browsing a forum where they discused how long theyd been gaming

 

 

 

ive been gaming since i was 3 and the first game was spyro

 

 

 

how long have you been gaming?

Ummm well i think the first time i gamed was like 4-6 some where around there. I started because my grandparents sent me a Super NES and i started playing Donkey Kong country!!

I knew how to turn on our computer and get to pac-man or some scooby doo game (the name escapes me) when I was 3. [This was in the days of DOS too, didn't have windows until i was like 6 or 7 or so and we got windows 3.1.]

 

 

 

I think I've been gaming since I was 2 or 3, I'm 18 nearly 19 now. 16 years I guess. :)

 

 

 

I love old photos of me. In diapers still and I'm sitting in the computer chair on the PC, lol :D.

Probably when I was two. It was 1992 then i guess. I think thats when we bought our first SNES (Never had a NES). Pretty sure the first game i played was Super Mario Bros.

about 1993

I have a picture of when I was 2 years old and I shoved my sister off the computer. The only games we had then were Mickey Mouse or something...

 

Then I moved to America when I was 4, and I got a good amount of games such as Backyard Baseball. I played those for years before I found out about EA, and got some EA games. I call that the sports game era of my gaming life.

 

Then finally, the big blow. RuneScape and Warcraft. I got a chance to play Warcraft at my camp, and RuneScape, well...It's RuneScape. I think it was about 2 years ago when I first started to really find out what MMORPGS were like...I've been addicted to MMORPGs for a few years now...The MMORPG era...

 

And a new era is on the horizon...RTS...I'm getting a few later this year, and I'm already playing a few free ones.

 

 

 

So to answer your question, I've always been gaming. Maybe not "true" gaming, but if playing children computer games count, then yes, I've nearly always been playing them.

 

(Maybe that's why my eyesight is so bad...)

Not exactly sure. When did the 8088 PC come out? I remember playing DOS games on it with my monochrome monitor.

 

 

 

Where the most excitement was "Open door", "look table", "get key".

 

 

 

Back when you had to type all the commands, and if you got them wrong it would say "I don't know how to do that".

I've been gaming since I was five years old (with my amazing Vic 20), so that's 24 years :)

 

 

 

Been internet gaming for about 8 years (since early '99)

Since I was 3 I think...the days of Master System. Can't built Alex Kidd in Miracle World built into the system :P

 

So 15 years...but i'm not into it much anymore

I was 3 or 4 and first started playing Doom. What a good game that was, I still play it to this day :) .

 

 

 

My Dad introduced me to the game. Granted my Mom didn't realy like it for me to play a game rated M when I was 4.

when i moved to Canada, we stayed at my aunt's house house till we got our own place

Hmm I was pretty young when I played Nes with duckhunt and something else. I forgot. I didn't have good memory at that age.

I can barely remember yesterday, and you expect me to remember that? I guess I haven't been gaming for very long, in a geological sense.

The PS1 was released 1995...

 

 

 

Anyway, I've been gaming ever since I could hold the controller, which was when I was 3, so that would make 11 years. My first game was Super Metroid on the SNES, and man was that a blast.

I've been gaming ever since Donkey Kong Country came out for SNES... I don't remember what year that was.

Ever since I could see a TV Screen.

Well it all started in 2000...or so when my dad took me to his work. His boss, fairly young and established man, showed me this game called Age of Empires. He burnt the game (remember these guys are computer hardware and software wizzes) for me and I started gaming. The rest is history.

hehe i had windows 3.1 too, i wish i could go back in time and tell myself to write down all my games i used to play. i had 3.1 when nearly no-one was using it.
