rareghoul1 Posted June 18, 2007 Share Posted June 18, 2007 actually, ancients owns range too, the last thing mages need is an update. i wish i had a pic, but the combat triangle today looks like a person in ghostly robes or mystic with an ancients staff casting ice barrage and killing meleers through prayer, and almost killing rangers, in 3 spells. Hunter's x-bow is obsolete, as you can get the same power 20 lvls earlier, and the bolts are hard to come by. I bought a rune c bow on my pure(61 range) to test it out and I hit natural 12s using iron bolts and without a Zammy book. Which is very good considering I think my max with MSB + rune arrows is 12 or 13(not potted). Pirate Rosetta stone.
