trecool9897
yeah, I hate that! Especially when u worked so hard on it and you don't enjoy it. Then they think they're on the top of the world... Thanks Lil_Atza for the sig!
Joes_So_Cool
This doesn't really annoy me with skills, but with items, it does. I don't really know why. It's just that me getting say, a santa hat, and someone showing off with a party hat set would annoy me more than if I get 1,500 total then someone comes in and says "Cool. I have 2,000". Maybe it's because people are mainly showing off with items. Me too, I guess because you can buy money irl and only buy skills irs (In RuneScape.) Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
GrimHams
This is what i dont like! I wouldn't be bothered if it didnt happen every time i tried to train any skill. What's wrong with that? Even the other rantings can be silly, but I can see why those might be annoying. But "Did I ask his level" is just rude. He wasn't bragging or anything since it was lower. I didnt want to start that generic conversation that irritates me considering it happens everytime anyone trains any skill in runescape. I didnt ask his level and to be honest i dont care his level, why should he even care about mine? it wasn't for conversation because thats not even implying a decent answer, he just wanted to be better than someone 20 levels higher. skeroh
I don't really get that anymore, but half of the people who say that, if you take the time too look up their name in the highscores, they aren't there. so, i usually ignore that when it happens to me. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

vesuvius27
That bugs me. As does "Mining Level" at a mine. Doesn't bother me if someone seems genuinely interested, but many people do it solely for the purpose of seeing if they'll mine the ores faster than me. Sumpta
A while back, I answered with impossible figures. For example, someone would ask my slayer level while killing jellies and I'd answer: 14. Alas, they never got the point and the ensuing argument was not worth it. After that, I started saying "look it up in the high scores", but then i'd get "wut? liar, there r no hiscores" and idiocy like that. Now, I either ignore them (to get replies like: "stuck up noob") or just give them the number and go through the whole "nice, mine is ..." etc. Yeah. Aren't MMORPG's fun? What wouldn't I give for a single player runescape...

She probably means that it's a lose-lose situation. If you tell them your level, they proceed by saying their own. If you tell them to look up your level, they don't know if there is hi-scores or not. If you don't reply to them then your a stuck-up high level. So, sometimes you want to be left alone or maybe all the time, haha. :uhh: Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig!
pati
Well maybe people are just happy and want to show other people what they accomplished? And remember: there will always be people better then you.
