July 8, 200718 yr It's actually an intelligent show (in a very weird way, if that makes any sense). There is the stupid stuff, but alot of it appeals to adults. July 17, 200718 yr I enjoy the show because of its interesting, funny and unique characters. It's a show that's pretty original on air and is definitely laugh out loud comedy. However I must admit, one thing that does bug me is that there is this internet phenomenon or something where its cool to enjoy Spongebob Squarepants. Kinda like how its cool to enjoy playing Pokemon games again, even though two years ago people wouldn't consider it cool enough. None the less, Spongebob is a nice show, its on really early on weekend mornings for me (lol 9am...which is early for guys my age) so I hardly get to catch it. July 18, 200718 yr Im not a fan of Spongebob at all. I find the bits where he torments Squidward abit dark and sadistic and hard to watch. I dont understand how people like any of these bits let alone find them funny. The only argument I could understand people using is: 'It's so dumb, it's funny'. But generally i think 'It's so stupid, it's stupid' is a more convincing argument. Too much slapstick and obvious puns. I don't see any sophisticated humour or clever pop culture referencing.
July 21, 200718 yr spongebob is OK...its good the first time you see it, but then they rerun it to death and it becomes very repetitive. I can tell what episode of Spongebob it is within 3 seconds of changing the channel to Nick. Ive seen every episode like at least 5 times. Im glad theyre making 5 new episodes. Spongebob is pretty much the only good show on Nick now. Patrick is Patrick. 'nuff said. Without Patrick that show would fall apart. The best episode is when Mr. Krabs builds a hotel, and Patrick tries to order a burger. "Ok, I'll have 1 krabby patty and 1 room, with cheese. Oh, and can you put cheese on the krabby patty too?" They showed that one this morning. I bet it's some totally awesome 20-stringed, dragon shaped instrument that doubles as a flamethrower/laser phaser. Or some really lame Chinese bamboo thing.

July 21, 200718 yr i find him extremely annoying with all of his repetative song and adventures. the show teaches kids ill logic like having a fire underwater (wtf?) id rather watch oprah honestly. but thats just me, im sure ive offended a few die hard SBSP fans...but i dont regret it, please cancel this show.
