Those ancient pages all indicate the metal dragons, thought dragons at heart, were somehow enhanced or manufactured by a higher being. This could indicate that the kbd is still the king of all NATURALLY occuring dragons.

that only proves my point, even though the metal drags were derived from the natural drags, their strength was artificially created, so they should have no lvl correlation between metal dragons and natural dragons, in fact, metal drags should only be stronger.

 

 

 

But that isn't the reason i think the kbd should be strengthened.

Some people forgot that you can kill 5-6 mith drags per trip, but at 99 range I have a hard time killing more than two kbds per trip... Kbd is still the strongest, it's just that can team the kbd.

They should make the KBD stronger somehow... like just give him steriods or something... :

KBD is still a lot stronger, it's just that people team kbd... If people could team mith drags, they'd be a lot easier than KBD.

Theres no reason to kill the KBD. The only unique thing he drops is his face.

1) Soloed KBD at level 88 combat, not even using the best gear out there! I was poor..

 

 

 

2) 1 week ago, I and a friend (ranged level 71, 82) duod the KBD. We made 11 kills in a single trip!! With just 2 people!

 

 

 

facts:

 

Mith dragon has a better drop.

 

Mith dragons can only be soloed and 3-5 kills per trip.

 

Mith dragons drop the Dragon Large, KBD the dragon Med..

 

Dragon large is the better version of the Dragon Med.

 

 

 

I think the KBD is harder then the mithril dragon. Why? Hey, try soloeing the KBD 4-5 times. It is pretty darn hard I can tell you! But you are forgetting something. KBD also drops his head! And that is what I am after to :twisted:

 

 

 

For me, the KBD has not lost its crown. It is just .. less .. attractive to kill him. But still, a drop worth 250k. A drop worth raising construction for. A drop worth a few million? And ofcourse, the awesome tittle of being a dragon slayer! Heck, KBD > mithril dragons anyday. I did 3 trips to the mithril dragons. I am bored of them. I did about 13 trips+ to the KBD, I am wondering when I shall go again!

it looks like the kbd has indeed lost its crown, but if Jagex refuses to update him, why not just add member's of his court that you must deal with also? Stuff like courtiers, guards, QUEEN, Mages, etc... Have em all 150+ semi-good drops and all be aggressive. That would make the Kbd's lair something to contend with!

How would you fit his court in his little lair? Btw it would be hard to kill him due to the fact that you will have a lot of aggressive monsters.

Many people have said it, and its true, the metal dragons weren't natural like the dragons (Except, apparently dragons were created as well, via dragonkin. More on that later in future quests, I hope.), and as a result, are imbued with superior power. The strongest man/woman in the world isn't not considered the strongest because there are robots that can carry heavier things, even if the robots DO resemble humanoids. Robots in disguise...

we don't care if hes not the strongest, we just want him to be useful. Also, there is a reason why mith dragons are packed and the KBD isn't, that's because its not worthwhile to kill the kbd for the visage or anything else it drops.

i love KBD and he should be the wildest in wilderness and has a better drops than just dragon med/half.. there should be a special drop only KBD drops it..

king black dragon maybe could mean king of black dragons...

Perhaps as metal dragons are created they were created without knowledge making them unable to challenge for the role of king or these memories include servitude to organic dragons.

 

Somebody mentioned the fact that he is king because of heritage, while this makes sense for humans it doesn't work for dragons as they are (according to some myths and jagex uses outside information for things) cannibals and most fiction agree that they are hoarders of treasure meaning they wouldn't want to share power as kings are generally wealthy.

Its king of the BLACK dragons, only black dragons, not any other.

What jagex should have done was to make the kbd the only monster to drop the draconic visage, then people would b ekilling him all the time. They could also have buffed him a bit as well.
