Fav' Sitcoms? Past & Present

Featured Replies

So, what are you favourite (non-animated), Sitcoms of past and present?

Present : My Name Is Earl

Past : Friends

What's yours?

Favourite of all time is easily Arrested Development. Favourite presently is The Office. While neither my favourite presently or of all time, I feel I should mention Seinfeld, which previously held my favourite of all time. I'll also mention M*A*S*H, which is the first sitcom I really go into.

My all-time favourite has to be Only Fools and Horses.

I love a lot of the British classics such as Porridge and Dad's Army and also some of the newer ones such as The Office and Ab Fab.

As for American sitcoms I'd have to say M*A*S*H, Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond.

It really has

So many sitcoms are horribly overrated. I have yet to laugh watching Friends. Six goodlooking young people in New York? I'm sorry, but I don't see the hilarity. The only sitcom that really made me care about the people involved while still being genuinely funny was M*A*S*H.

Spin City! Third Rock from the Sun! Married with Children!

I just ordered Arrested Development 1-3 box at Amazon.com for 54 dollars ex. shipping (50% off). Finally I'm going to see it, waited too long. :P

I know others that don't really like the show, but none of them actually sit down and watch a full episode. I think it's maybe something you have to watch from the beginning to understand the characters.

Meh, I love it anyways...
