Head: snelm (I don't think there's def requirement to wear) Body: iron platebody (couldn't think of anything else) Legs: black chaps (easy choice) Gloves: combat bracelet (enchanted dragon stone bracelet http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=6905) Cape: obby (unless you can manage to get a fire cape) Boots: climbing Amulet: fury/glory hope it helps

They both have about the same stats, But mith gloves are cheaper. Also, better to pk in unless you want to lose a 60k+ cb braces.

You could take a quick look at the items database and discover that the rune def is a lot better as far as melee stats go. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN!

Also this has better defense then iron plate, and also requires 1 def.
