has anyone considered the possibility that we are not looking at the back of the beast?

 

 

 

 

 

Much can be assumed by the picture but nothing confirmed. It is not impossible that we are actually looking at a part of the beasts front side and not it's backside.

yep, looks like the back of a demon, it was wings and horns on the head.

Look at the creatures possible :-k . top left:behemoth-like creatures, boney demon (but they dont have bones!), triple headed humanoid, skeletons in ghorrock (demonic ruins),a creature that look like a mermaid, and a creature that looks like a monkey with a tail...

I thought it looked like a dragon. Maybe it's one of those ancient dragons like the green dragon in the Mithril Dragon caves. Now we get red ones?

dragon dragons are completely illogical because the whole purpose of metal dragons is that they drop bars.

 

 

 

no such thing as dragon bars since dragon items are most likely made out of a composite of dragon parts..like the talons on drag arrows.

If you read through the archives of runescape you'll find that dragon items are created from a power known as 'Frenskae' which is also what zamorak called him army.. which was generally made up demonic creatures..

 

 

 

perhaps this will be a kind of embodiment of that power? or maybe a higher ranked demon he used to head the army in the war originally? if so its gonna be pretty strong and we already know its gonna be multi-combat

however im willing to bet we'll see a nice dragon pickaxe soon - the arrival of 'Bandos' the dwarf god and whats the dwarfs specialty? :wink:

great post.i agree that the game need the dragon picaxe is needed more than a dragon platebody and id also throw in a pair of dragon boots(although they will probably come with slayer if anything).

 

 

 

i hope that we get a stronger monster than jad but you need teams to kill it.most monsters which were intended for team combat can be solod so if tthis uses griffins,giant demons,goblin warlords or whatever it would be like fight caves x4 and the team would have to team up on monsters.if one dies then thats a less chance of someone getting the reward.if you do not want to take part in raiding the dungeon then you can just kill enemies abit like the tzhaar

In the 'older' times of runescape, we were led to believe that Dragon items were made by the Mahjarrat. And they came from a plain/land called Freneskae. Zamorak, Zaros, the Oracle, Lucien and many others are members of the Mahjarrat.

 

 

 

Dragon items are made from metal, however it's not done via smithing, nor could it be an actual metal that's discoverable, it's produced through magical means by the Mahjarrat. So it's possible they are actually able to create it themselves.

Bandos isn't the dwarf god. He is the God of the Ogres and could possibly also be a God that Goblins worshipped...however it still may not actually be the Big High War God, since the Goblins worshipped anything for warfare. :wink:

They could, it just may be a readjustment of stats, like it may have a very high defence and hp. And a str and att level that lets it hit quite a few 35's max or something? The jad is uber strong but he doesnt have great def and hp.

If a high level monster's stats were unbalanced, such as in the favor of defense as you said, it would be essentially impossible to hit (Verac works only on armor and prayer; the only thing that would work is DBow and Vengance). Furthermore, monsters of the level of Jad would have such a high attack that it hits almost always (e.g. KQ), so it would still be much more powerful than any human.

Well you might have hit the point, who knows, maybe they stuck a few dragon longswords in you normal steel dragon to make him stronger :ohnoes: ? Maybe we will get something like 1 dragon unit (one dragon fragment?) per dragon killed, make them unstackable so that players need more runs and 200 fragments= an item that requires 1 bar if smithable (e.g. Drag scim would cost 400), but it also drops other dragon items too? Maybe The great dragon plates, picks and boots?

not really, game tweaks come alone as well. Remember there are still two mondays left in the week, next one will be tweaks, then the one after that is the dungeon.

where did you get that information from? because it's wrong, dragonite is a metal that simply isn't and never will be found by players.

I was under the impression that bits & pieces came alongside larger updates at the same time. Unless there are a lot of bits & pieces, I see no reason why they should be an independent update.

The game tweaks for this month are:

 

 

 

- better examine descriptions on some items (which should help establish where they come from)

 

 

 

-some graphical changes, making potentially dangerous game areas LOOK more dangerous.

 

 

 

With it being graphic changes I suppose they could be a stand alone update and could come this week.

im almos sure that it is not a dragom coz the character doesnt have antidragon shield : znd i also almost sure that the gods war dungeon will be deeep in the wildy west of the agility course coz if you look in the world map westof the agility course you can see a big black squire i think it is the location of the dungeon \
