I think it's a Demon/Dragon hybird like earlier mentioned because it has both curved up and downward horns ;) I just had an idea that the Godsword could actually be weaker than the whip, however it could have the ability to cast spells, it would also give a pretty good magic bonus. There would be another "Range is underpowered! War" because Jagex would be "favouring" Melle+Magic at the same time If you look at the combat triangle now, its actually equal enough (dark bow hits very high), besides, the God sword may just be a melee sword, i'm more afraid of people saying "Why is it untradeable?" or the opposite, since merchants would merchant it and pkers pk it (and it's way too big amounts of money to be won), or pkers will start ranting that they can't pk it (same as rune defenders, fighter torsos etc.). I'd say Jagex should give money instead of it to pkers if untradeable, and make it untradeable (but they're still merchs, but they get enough money anyways). I was talking about if the godsword was mele/magic rangers would flip. Also you're suggesting it be like the barrelchest anchor? O:) Whoever said it was going to be an island? TO be honest I've never heard of an underground cave under the ocean, surrounded by water. The masses of water pressure pushing on the cavern would force it to collapse. Also, please read the topic, the Unknown demon is going to be quite more complex then just a remake of a demon. Jagex is more creative then that. That's awfully likely... good find :) Physically, though, I think the dungeon is going to be that big obtuse black square just west of the wild. It's the only space big enough for anything above ground (which I'm assuming there will be in addition to the dungeon) Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items? decebal Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 ok, Now for the theory: :idea: As I told you before, Kharyrl (I think it was armadyl's, before it became a swamp, it was forest) was battling zamorack's Ghorrock (greater demon ruins) and another god from the west. The gods attacked that fortress, and the greater demons might be the last surviving ghorrock warriors maybe. Anyways, Armadyl Took a surprise attack on ghorrock from the west, hence zamorack wouldn't know (that cave on sapphire mound). The diggers might have gone a bit farther and found the war that was still going on, so they gotten themselves a safer passage from Kudos Isle to help that god (possibly bandos!). Then Guthix reawakened and freezed up using an ice spell, and gorrock repelled the attack, but barely when this happened. Then, we the adventurers will find these passages with maybe some creatures that escaped mortally wounded in them. we might find the chamber with the wyrm (or ''Giant Imp", "Demon", "dragon" etc.) and the tree of life. when pulled, it might be a quest start of a new quest series that will end the god wars if finished. Much can be assumed by the picture but nothing confirmed. It is not impossible that we are actually looking at a part of the beasts front side and not it's backside.
