darkjab Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 Are Wyrms and Dragonkin meant to be the same thing? That monster isn't dragonkin unless they took masses of creative license for that advert. I want it to be a half demon-dragon thing that breathes ice for some reason and when you defeat it it lets you ride it out of the cavern. :notalk: The Dragonkin existed since the 1st age, they are the creators. However there could be 'The Elder Dragons' that may of created them, or that could just be a name for themselves. When their race was brought to the brink of extinction, they had to create clones of themselves since they couldnt reproduce, based from the ages, I'll assume they first created the Wyrms. Wyrms would of been around during the 2nd and 3rd age (since they battled in the God Wars) and after that they could of reproduced or cloned again and resulted in Wyverns and the Dragons of today. Can you put a source on that? As someone who has done all quests and read into the lores and letters I don't recall this being said anywhere. One point of intrest how ever was that the german people said the it is definitly God Sword and not gods word, because they cant be mistaken in german. I bet that plenty of people will lose their warspears down there :roll: And tbh, I believe the dungeon will be non-wilderness, but you will have to go through the wilderness to get to it. There is a black spot in the far northwestern wilderness, and the ice plateau is in the far northwestern wilderness.... And in that preview, the guy is going through an icy area... Which further supports it will be near the ice plateau. I pray that Jagex isn't daft enough to make the dungeon actually in the wilderness, though. Alas, they proved me wrong once, with the bracelets. #-o And as far as the big red guy, I anticipate either a dragon pickaxe, dragon boots, or the Godsword as his ultimate drop. I hope that the Godsword is NOT tradable, because if it is, it'll be just another thing to benefit rich merchants and lucky low levels who get the drop. Jagex really needs to be more creative with their new items... This "luck of the drop" thing is getting really old. It is a shame that luck is more beneficial than having high skills, in this game. A dragonkin looks like it's hooded, and if wyrms produced all of these dragons and wyverns, maybe they will be it's servants :ohnoes: . We seem to get imps too, hehe... getting hit 1s while killing high leveled monsters :twisted: . Maybe there's gonna be a fallen warrior as a warning person (something like the appearance af the fallen warrior of dream mentor and the warning monk near entrana dungeon :-k ). Maybe we could get out only by a hot spring, but then we'll end up in the widerness :ohnoes: ? For now, this is all I'm gonna say, I want more =P~ ! They also don't look very much like Dragons either. :wink: Dragonkin also apparently had no involvment in the world until the 4th age, they appeared when people were still recovering from the God Wars. Demons dont have scales Dragons don't have arms, and i've only ever seen Demons with horns all over their body.
