Wasn't there a confirmed way to get randoms? :-s

 

 

 

Although I remember on my main account I didn;t get a mime for over a year. :notalk:

 

 

 

Then on my other account I made I got all the Random Event items in 2 days :-w

when i melee, range, or mage anything alching, teleporting, cutting a gem, or anything like that for some reason makes me get a random.. Half the time when i'm training i don't wanna alch my drops cause i know i will get a random. Quite annoying

whenever i alch i tend to get loads of randoms.....so yeah i dont think there very random at all

Mollie makes you grab her evil twin like a grab machine. And pinball, you just tag posts.

Am i making history? lol, 3 camo sets in one day. Kept dropping them cuz I knew I would get more. The rarest random for me is zombie..ah i want the zombie walk.:x

I got full zombie and the emotes in like 2 days. I just ranged chickens at Champion's guild and buryed the bones. Now I still get him, and all he is now is annoying. Come on, Leo, how many times are you gonna mix up the dead people?

Jagex have become lazy. They choose to make randoms more common instead of changing the way they occur in the first place. It's ridiculous getting 2-3 mimes a day. And don't get me started on Evil Bobs.

I had something similar to this while on a Slayer assignment at Lesser Demons, except it was every time I alched one of thier drops I got a random.

 

 

 

And they were all the really long ones (Molly, UGH)

how would you go about triggering the mime random, i just need the mask :)

 

 

 

Yesterday I decided to start fletching 93k maple logs into longbows.

 

 

 

I did 3000 and ended up with 3 mimes! I think inventory space may have some factor, my inventory was always full. Luckily the mime items would appear on the floor of the bank, so i could just quickly drop my maples briefly and then pick up and bank the mime stuff.

 

 

 

My first mime was in 2006, and in total for the whole year I had 2 maybe 3, spent a few hours fletching yesterday and i've ended up with three. Ridiculous, but I am very glad to finally finish my mime set :thumbsup:

when i was firemaking and cooking for 99 cooking, i got a random evry 10-15 minutes. it seems to happen most often for me when i'm firemaking than alching or anything else.

I think randoms tend to kill the chinese bots more. Maybe Jagex is targeting them?

I notice it at metal drags, have about 5mins of fighting drags, bury a bone, and 99% of the time, you get a random.

 

 

 

The bone method also works in other places, suddenly switching to training prayer after skilling for about 5mins, usually triggers a random.

i hate randoms because usually i dont pay attention since im surfing the forum, i go back and boom i get a random then i mess up and i get teleported halfway across gleinor

Same with me. I never get any of the good ones, only the occasional MOMs, rick turnpikes and pirates.

 

I envy those who get many mimes, drill demons, and class rooms.

I used to get a teliportation matrix every time I telliported out of members dungeon. It was quite nice, as I always got free runes and a telliport. Also, I get alot of randoms buying uncut gems from the general store and then leaving and cutting them. I also got nearly full mime (and countless demon drill randoms) superheating 5k steel bars. :-k

Underu..if they were tradeable id gladly give you mine. Ive been through about 15 camo sets, so many classrooms i should have my doctorate in super hard quizzes pretty soon. :roll: Ive been through two full mimes. Its getting boring. All i want is the zombie walk! ahh..just buried 5k bones and got nothing. Although i now have a hunch were to get Leo to come. Let you guys know if it works.

I got full zombie and emotes at minotaurs in a short space of time. Prior to that, I hadn't got any Leo randoms. Only got 1 or 2 sinces.

 

 

 

Decided to go random hunting yesterday after first seeing this thread, so went down to Minotaurs again (figured I should actually train my range to better than 30), hoping for the mime gloves and all 4 emotes.

 

 

 

In the space of 2 hours I got:

 

- 2 mimes (emotes)

 

- 2 Schoolmaster

 

- 1 WOM

 

- 2 Freaky Forrester

 

- 1 Pinball

 

- 1 Maze

 

 

 

The trigger point was pretty consistent (based on 2.5 rows of things in inventory):

 

- bury full invent of bones

 

- bury another full invent of bones

 

- bury another full invent of bones

 

- start to bury the 4th full invent, and a random triggered ... almost every time

 

 

 

Except for the mime (which I had 3 bones left to bury), all triggered on the first bone in the inventory.

 

 

 

I shall continue hunting ...

I have been playing for almost two years and i have never gotton any mime clothes, lederhosen, zombie, but i got my first camo item yesterday. It was a top. :)

You're too kind. :mrgreen: Isn't it funny that I already have the zombie stuff in the few random events i get, while you still toil for it? It's the first time I'm showing off randoms, I can tell you that. :

ya know something weird? I was messing around in falador in egg mode (love my egg ring :XD: )

 

 

 

 

 

anyway, just sitting there scaring noobs. I transform and then BAM! random.

 

 

 

 

 

repeat 2 more times, 2 more randoms. I think the egg ring is a catalyst for the random events.

another thing thats killing the game. I got sick of it and quit months ago. still check the updates for sumt to make me go OOOooOooO YAY!

 

 

 

let down weekly.

after 2 or 3 yrs of playing i have never gotten a mime event yes i have gotten almost every other event but no mime event!!! jagex hates me! :evil:
