Led-Zeppelin
I was going to make the same topic and post some pictures, it's going on right now, and I'm in NZ. Started at 8.30pm, started going red from 9.30, and fully red at 10pm. Finishes at 1am. If you miss this one, will have to wait till 2010.

Led-Zeppelin
Yeah it looked awesome, pity our weather wasn't perfect though. Was cloudy and raining, had alot of clear moments inbetween though. Got to see it at full eclipse which was awesome.
remoteman
Just came back from the beach, went down with a few friends and saw it, it was very cool, not something that you see very often. We saw a shooting star too. "A disbelief in magic can force some poor souls into believing in authority and business"
hiimben
I saw it too. We had like perfect weather for it, no clouds or anything. Tried to take a picture but I don't have a steady hand or a great camera or anything :P Oh well, Atleast I can say I've taken the dodgiest pictures of the 28/8/07 Lunar Eclipse :)

np_tyler
Is that really just a black box, ShadowFax, or is it supposed to be something? I think I saw a lunar eclipse a couple years ago here in the United States. It was kind of cool... I don't even really remember it very well. - Np Tyler
Phil
Apparently it was best seen over the pacific but could be seen in E Asia, Oz and W USA. No eclipse for us Europeans.

Haha, I have to wait to 2010 to see it again, and like 2028 to see a solar eclipse over NZ, and even then it will be partial, and low in the sky. :(
