in fact that time leaves some space too, my wildy trip was very slow due to going around lava lakes, why didnt i simply use edgeville way instead of varrock way anyway? (considering you have to get to 0 to 48 wildy and back to 0 wildy in it the straightest way)

Just tried it, got 19 minutes and 32 seconds. It would have been faster but I was typing and not clicking.

24 minutes 16 seconds. Yup, I take my time.

*slowly walks away... falls over*

Maybe the wise old man isn't as strong as he seems to be....

btw, isn't it so that you have to have the whole face in minimap to consider it "researched" and also that wildy walk is certainly from 0 wildy to bone fence and back to 0 wildy before next task?

21 minutes and 42 seconds. ran to teh bone fence and back"did the west side of the wildy to avoid the pkers.also i got the full face of the coast on the minimap before running away.

great distraction from skilling lol

I think the old man just sat around the whole day doing nothing, then he told pete the exiting stuff and said it took 24 hours.

When you mentioned the Dragon Plates I had a sudden vision of a load of gangsters running around in fancy dress yealling "Grim Reaper in da hood!"

I am sure its a hint at the new to come achievement diary..

But yeah he took a day :-k

I think there must have been parts they could not tell us like his pit stop at the local brothel.

he drank 3 greenmans ales then did a "dance" i don't wanna know.....

The Wise Old Man doesn't have that many friends, being a bank robber and all, so he took it slow to fill up his time.

Pretty much what Dragon said.

Thread terminated.

I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator?

No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.

Tell me next time he goes. *Thinks of blue phat in invent* I'm gonna try this when i have time.

About the WOM taking 24 hours, maybe he logged out for about 23hours and 30mins

Yeah, he needs some exersize though.

Look at him, sitting on a chair all day...

Can't be good for you.

Doomy edit: I like sheep

Being 24 hours in EARTH TIME makes absolutely little sense. Sure it is possible to stay up for a LONG time. Yet it is unlikely the WOM would be up THAT long. Of course he is just a fictional character...

Also, think of the subliminal message JAGEX is sending us. Stay up for 24 hours and try to accomplish this task. I don't think so, so many lawsuits...

There is the possibility of him fibbing it took 24 hours. Yet... why would he fib that it took him SUCH a long time to do in Earth time?

So my conclusion is that Gilienor(?) time goes slower than Earth Time. Thus it is very possible he could have beat it in a reasonable amount of time. Do not bother trying to calculate the difference. As everyones speed would be different and theres no way of knowing if he took his time or not.
