Lots of people just stole it for themselves, I'm sure. You don't just lose that much money on accident. I find it funny that they can lose 2.3 trillion dollars and effectively say "Uhh, oops? Oh well." but if I don't pay my taxes (which, I don't plan to if I can help it) they'll be on my [wagon] in seconds. I was hounded for months and threatened with 5 years in prison because I "didn't sign up for selective service"...Which ended up being a computer error because someone else shared the same name as me. I literally got a letter saying that I had 2 weeks to comply to their demands (their words) or I would be sent to prison for 5 years and/or charged $250,000 (again, their words). The government isn't as incompetant as they'll have you believe...They just play dumb-as-[cabbage] when it's needed. You can bet that if you don't file a tax return, they'll know about it, and you will get a threatening letter. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
