Fight Caves really that hard?

Its actually not hard at all. Just most people (me inclouded) are nervous when they get to jad and mess up on the prayer switches. Getting to jad on a scale of 1 - 10 (1 being easest, 10 being hardest) would rate maybe a 6. Jad would be a 10.

I would say that's an accurate statement. It's exactly like X_Bow said. Praying, drinking, attacking isn't hard, is it? It's just the pray switching that got to me.

Also get a good computer that doesn't lag a lot. :wall:

I have tried three times...

First try, got two hit by Jad from off-screen.

Second try, got hit by Jad 5 times. First hit was an 88, and I chugged brews but kept messing up his prayers. I eventually died on the fifth hit.

Third try, I got to the healers and got Jad down to 1/4 HP, but then I foolishly tried to pray pot between attacks; got owned by his ranged attack, due to the server transfer of the prayer. I saw the motion, clicked the prayer, but got hit during the time it was relaying it to the server.

Ok, so I was recently fooling around in the fight caves trying to do the achievement diary, and I'm far from a combat character, a mere level 93 with 76 76 73 for melee stats and 56 Prayer. Equiped with a ddp++, whip, obby shield, obby cape, full rune, Zerker helm, rune boots a glory and 18 monk fish I easily made it to the level with a 180 + 2 90's.

I was lead to wonder if the fight caves are really that hard. I mean I have never fought jad, which is supposed to be the hardest part, but I did a sizable portion with minimal equipment.

So my question to you is the fight caves really that hard?

whats ur range, cuz fight caves depend on range a whole lot. Its not impossible for you to do fight caves, but it takes skill and knowledge of fighting that only exp in the wild can teach u.

p.s. btw with those items i'll doubt u'll even get to the 360s, u need guthans and like the best bow u can get ur hands on.

Right...

yes, it is very hard, and considering that to get to jad, and beat him, each trip can cost upwards of 1m if you dont have all the supplies already, plus the right outfit etc. and, when it gets up to the 360s+ 90s/180s, it is where i had my most trouble. That and Jad can one-hit basically anyone

And a grandma that doesn't make you log udring Jad.

I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete.
So, what is 1.111... equal to?

10/9.

Please don't continue.

True, it isn't so hard once you practice, but it's certainly one of the biggest challenges RuneScape has to offer. It isn't something you can complete on your first try, even with ideal equipment (if you did, then kudos to you). There are some 126s with 99 ranged that have had to attempt it several times...

BTW there are people around level 45 that have completed it. It doesn't mean that the caves are easy to beat, it just means that those people are very, very good at the game; and have tons of cash to spend on runes.

I have to agree with people, after your second failed attempt, fightcaves is one of the most boring things in game, all it is is praying and clicking then running in circles, although jads pretty fun to kill. the healers come and that makes it intense until i die then its like crap theres another two hours gone.

fight caves is very easy

i always get to the 360s without sipping my ppot lol or eating at all

when you get to 360 180 90 rounds tell me how easy it is

especially 360 180 90 90 is the hardest round ttto be honest

or when you get to the 360s and you kill it then another one spawns right where that one died and hits a 46 on you with melee

I've made it to the 360s with 1 prayer pot and a crystal bow (achievement diary ftw). The real challenge comes when you start getting 360s (mage), 180s (melee), and 90s(range) all coming for you at once, and you have to make good use of the safespots and lure the monsters well. However, some people have this whole system down (like Muggi :D ) and would have no problem doing on it with an account of your stats.
you can make it to the 360's with no food, prayer, just guthans lol I find its fairly easy except healers.

The only hard part in fight caves is the 90's, if the 90's was not in it, it would be even easier.

Na it's very easy. ;)

Like everything people who haven't even attempted it make the hype about how hard it is.

There are some pretty sweet tactics I found out such as trapping them all behind the 360's, taking out the 90 ( only takes two - three hits so really isn't much trouble ) taking out the 360's then getting the 180's stuck on the rock.

I AM SURELY GOING TO WIN THE AWARD OF THE MOST LOVED TIP.IT'ER EVER, SURELY?

Yea, them are all good ways, switching them up of course when you must.
