It sucks. I'll try it on mine on Friday. Last time I checked it was 11,000 kbs and 1,900 kb/s.

If you are on the same network then it shouldn't matter what computer you use, they should be relatively similar.

I feel bad for you. I'm complaining about my 20,000kb/s, I guess I should consider myself lucky, but not compared to Japan.

This is my laptop and it says that the connection is bad.

 

My speed can go upto 16mb up and 4 down.

 

And I have cable connection, that's a pro.

 

And I use Firefox FTW!

 

 

 

Overal, I'm very happy.

 

I should be, we pay 50 euro's per week.

And I'm not surprised either. A genious here at UCSB invented a new type of solar cell that is about 20x more efficient cost wise, and can be as cheap to produce as newspapers.
