Otherwise, please remove all "stolen" (borrowed) sigs/avvys.- Apinagez created this thread one year ago, to the day. I remember that one, chaotic week, and I would like to see it happen again. So...Why not? For those of you that were around then, I hope you remember it. But for those that weren't, and for a little refresher... Me and Runesmithie were chatting yesterday, negociating the terms for a contract of use of my sig and avvy by him, and of his by me for one week. All of sudden, he pops up with a weird idea: What if we just started using other people's signatures? "Great idea!" I said " What if we stole more of their profile too? Let's build hybrid accounts!". So here we are. What if we made expanded this thing? Me and Runesmithie have been finding this rather amusing, I just got this quote, for instance: And as MPC said, not going to happen. This stuff takes time, lots of it. And most importantly, money. MPC said that? You sure? Haha I really am confusing people. :P Aha, this is amazing. So, this is all about picking other people's stuff and assembling an interesting hybrid, for one week. My first one was Necromagus sig with MPC's avvy, which is quite an interesting mix. :wink: Please notice you can't make any changes to the sig/avvy, as that would be ripping, and all we want here is a bit of fun. :) There's only one rule: If the person complains about having their signature/avatar stolen, remove it. And it's strictly forbidden to steal LP's signature/avatar: his ego would be super flattered by that, and he would go bezerk. HAVE FUN! So um...A quick run through. -Feel free to take someone else's sig/avvy/profile -Try to make it so your "new" sig, avvy or profile are from different people. -Do NOT change the sig/avvy AT ALL. Not even a tiny detail. -If you take someone's sig/avvy/profile and they complain about it, REMOVE IT. -Not sure if LP still doesn't want us to take his sig/avvy. I'd like to add this... Post the code for your sig/avvy if you're participating. Not only will this help people that want to take your sig/avvy, it will also help you regain them at the end of the week. And eh...I guess I might as well add this. People who don't want their sig/avvy taken: -WWPD sigs -Nadril (Apparently) -Bubsa -Skully_Sc -Happybappy -Sebbeberg -Yaff6 -Jopie211 Let's make this the second most confusing week in TIF history! Edit: It seems as if many people don't want people they don't know taking their sigs. I understand why. So a few ways you can decided whether or not you're allowed to take someone's sig/avvy. -If they've taken someone else's sig/avvy, it should be fine. -If they've posted the code for their sig/avvy, it should be fine. -If the sig/avvy you want to take belongs to someone that isn't active anymore, it should be fine. If none of these are true for the person that owns the sig/avvy you want to take, then I'd PM them first. And notice how I put "should be". In the cases that it isn't fine, then please, remove it. (Or you could just go ahead and take a sig/avvy without doing any thinking, and risk the punishment.) October 4, 200718 yr What about for sad people like me who don't know how to make sigs and don't have any friends in order to get them to do the work for me? :P The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
