I've designed and written a java program that i now use to record all my kills/drops. I finished work on my "export to CSV" class today so i can now export my data into an excel spreadsheet. All the data i record get stored in a MySQL server that i have running. I can give copies to my friends and they can contribute their data directly :D

Looking good :P That would be such a nice little tool to have to record drops.

I've gotten more rare things WITHOUT the ring than with the ring in less time of training without the ring!

the thing about the ring of wealth is there was a scripting error.

 

you see, it was meant to be called "ring of poverty," but content development thought it was to pessimistic. :roll:

 

 

 

anyways, being serious, i'd like to see how this turns out.

 

i did 2 full runs (at about 2 hours each) killing iron and steel dragons, and my best drop was rune limbs ( -.- ), then i did 1 run with RoW and got a d skirt.

 

i think it's just because i'd already killed about 150, but i might be wrong.

Well I have 500 kills logged with a ring of wealth.

Well I can't really record them because my computer doesnt have excel so I cant use that program...

The actual use of the RoW is to increase the percentage of chance to drop an item that appears under the pile of bones... in other words the herbs, clue scrolls, anything else you can think of that does this.

I myself don't understand why you'd use a ring of wealth.

 

I rather have a slight bigger chance of surviving if I would lagg out while wearing a ROL, then certain death with a ROW (Talking about fighting strong monsters).

 

ROW only increases the chance of getting an item a tiny bit.

 

Not worth it imho, never used it, never will.

You should do fire giants, like the others. Otherwise your results are hard to compare to the rest.

No, i had a long bone and 2 big bones in one drop. Thought i'd record it because it was the only time i ever had two big bones from them in one go :P

 

They always drop big bones, i record that in the enemy details section ...

to 85 is 1,700 blues and then to 90 is another 4,700 blues
