November 8, 200817 yr 3rd ever kill: Congrats but you're very, very lucky. Using Wild Pies to get Slayer drops is a complete wast of time. Trust me on that one. and how would you know? I doubt you've ever pied mages. I pied them before getting 83, and trust me it isn't worth it. I did 2k kills off-task getting just 6 boots. Then within the first 500 kills on task I got 9 boots. However, even if you don't think that drop rates are increased on task, trust me when I say they're become boring to do on task if you do them too much before-hand. I like the reasoning when you said that would make it a boring task, because that is very true, seeming as if you do kill something too much, it does get very very boring... And I only got 83 slayer a week ago. Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob. People in OT eat glass when they are bored.
