I pied them before getting 83, and trust me it isn't worth it. I did 2k kills off-task getting just 6 boots. Then within the first 500 kills on task I got 9 boots.

 

However, even if you don't think that drop rates are increased on task, trust me when I say they're become boring to do on task if you do them too much before-hand. When you're pieing you're doing it solely to get D Boots drops, and when you don't get them it gets really irritating very quickly.

Yeah lol, what were you expecting Alak? A D chain? People have killed 10,000s of those and not got one. At least Spiritual Mages have a decent D Boot drop rate.

I never knew I would create so many arguments over that, but anyways, I was really bored, so that's the only reason why I decided to kill them, I'm not going to make it a hobby.

 

 

 

I like the reasoning when you said that would make it a boring task, because that is very true, seeming as if you do kill something too much, it does get very very boring...

 

 

 

Oh yeah, you should never pie dust devils also, they are not worth it at all...

I got 15 d boots in 3 trips to Spiritual Mages from 80-82 slayer, I would think that's worth it (Around 1 per 100 kills).
