Dizzle229
In RSC, having 50 in a skill could make you like #7 on the highscores. Now, you need to be in like the 70's for most skills. Please don't hold my lack of ranked skills against me, but the discussion is this. Eventually, I think people will get better and better at skills and the requirement for newer players to be ranked will go up. Currently, I think the highscores are pretty much fair but in the next several years requirements could go into the 90's. Once people get to the 2 million skill limit others will do the same. Before long, the highscores will be so full of people with full experience in each skill that there will be no way to get new people in. Discuss. Get back here so I can rub your butt. kingbd
Wait...You think that 1million players will have 200 million exp/or just 99 in each skill? No chance. Absolutely no chance. Edit: Oops sorry misread something somehow

ilovecuttingyews
I'm not sure about how long ago it was but the highscores only used to go up to 500,000. It got very "full" then they made it 1M and it was good. Now it is "filling up" I would sure hope that they would add more spaces.

Chaos_Reborn
There won't be a problem getting people in, but you can say that getting a good rank has become harder and harder. If I'm not mistaken, getting 99 in a skill could even land you on 1000+ or 10000+ (roughly, I haven't checked this exactly). But there's not much that they can do, except remove inactive accounts from the highscore and return them when they do become active again. Another thing which has some similarity are the usernames. I think Jagex should increase the number of maximum characters from 12 (I think?) to 14 or something just so newer players can pick at least half decent names that they like. Nom
There are approximately 1 million members right now. In order for the high scores to be 'full' of 90+, every single member must have 90+ in all skills. (Otherwise the overall would not be 'full'.) Not gonna happen. Robot919
If there were no autoers, it would be A LOT easier to get in highscores. Autoers take up like 1/20 of the highscores.

PastyGangsta
Im pretty sure if all the autoers were banned we wouldnt have an overcrowding issue on the highscores... like 250,000 slots would be emptied and filled with actual players. If it ever does fill up Jagex will just increase the amount from 1 to 2 million. Thats a lot of server space wasted on something so miniscule, but thats what theyll do... :wall:
hybrid2hell
Jagex will probably increase the high score capacity. But i do find it absurd that you have to be 66 strength just to appear on the highscores. Thanks pure I engineered this thread with precise variables that I know would cause lul-worthy flames.
