yaff2
this right here, is bull. hugging is not sexual, or nething. if i were there, id hug people, and then say no to detention, and not go. 1980 Berlinetta with a 350, bored, mild cam, intake carb, headers, exhaust
Satenza
Someone's changed their tune  The 'Defenders Best Bits' post will forever haunt him. Im glad he is happier now and fighting for hugging. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
ixfd64
Unfortunately, there are more schools that have this silly policy than you think. For example, my cousin Cathy's middle school had a no-hug policy. I dunno why it's as if this just started happening :-k Last.fm Signature Overlays

Mercifull
I'm not a big PDA fan either. No more than 2 kisses in a public place at a time and hugging to a minimum. You need to respect the people around you a little more, not everyone wants to see it and might feel bad that nobody loves them. Denismage
Isn't this a repost? I'm thinking so. It was tragic then, tragic now. A repost? Someone has posted this before? Umm I think it was actually about some guy slapping some girls on the arse. They saw no offence in it but he got a 2 day suspension. One idiot slapped some girls [wagon] in my school and got expelled.

Why can't this 'political correctness' thing get it right? If we can't get rid of it, please let it do some good in the world and at least show some kind of social equality. Please. A hug is a sign of personal friendship, it's not indecent. Now, as rsautohater put it, 'sucking face' is indecent if you do it in broad daylight in public. People don't need to see that kind of thing in an environment such as school. Oh, and despite my numerous jabs at Americans, the stupidness doesn't always happen there, it happens here in the UK alongside with plenty of other countries. Who are these people who decide these 'faceless' rules which restrict personality so much? If this kind of thing happened to me during the examination stages in school, I personally would probably not be able to cope with political stances and campaigns and all that jazz against these unfair rules alongside with studies etc. Rules are usually the right course of action, some things should be restricted to make a decent school. But some rules go too far and can make student's lives a misery. ~ W ~
Tbfgraphx14
Yea, my friend hugged his girlfriend in the hallway, he got a referal, but sadly no national news story. I can see where they are on this. Hugging can usally lead to talking around and wasting time getting to class. It would be better just to not hug in between classes to not waste time. raylifes
Oh come on, have some sympathy for the people that make these rules. They're so insecure about themselves they can't even stand it when children give each other a hug.
Randox
This is why I prefer private schools. We dont have to put up will all these stupid rules, though im sure if people started making out in the hall that would be an issue.
FalconBomba
I think thats stupid. I mean it's a {firetruck} hug. I mean like other things I can understand but hugs are so meaningless these days. (No one hug me ever... I don't like detention.) But... this seems like a Gir quote time. "Your disgusting!" SuziAngel
I think that is awful. Hugs are a good thing - I, for one, love them! We encourage the children in our school to give each other cuddles when they are needed. : I'm not a big PDA fan either. No more than 2 kisses in a public place at a time and hugging to a minimum. Do I spy a little hypocrisy here, hm? The Poison Fairy
