November 7, 200718 yr Come on, hugging. That was popular in the thirties. Then in the sixties came the beatles with "i wanna hold your hand", the nineties had Nine Inch Nails with "I wanna F*ck you like an animal!". And that was 13 years ago. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
November 7, 200718 yr ^LOL School boards, get a life. Hugging. Come on! That's completely ridiculous. I wonder what kinds of people come up with these insane laws. Fundamentalist Christians? Fundamentalist Muslims? Parents with too much time on their hands? Nazis?! Get over it!
November 7, 200718 yr First banning Tag in a school, now this. Where will it end? Banning hi-five's, handshakes, shoulder pats? They really need to reword the rule. I can understand maybe detentions for signs of actual affection, like making out in the middle of school grounds, etc. but for a small hug between two friends? Thats low. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. I own. http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.
November 7, 200718 yr Author No matter how you define or slice the orange at hand, they are basically saying "hugging is wrong" either way. And whats best about it probably is, once those teachers/principals go home, I bet they hug their children/husband/wifes. Hypocrites ftl. If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me
November 7, 200718 yr Oh, they did not just do that :| :( :( Hug and spread the love!! :D Everybody hug and spread the love :D

I might not agree with the rule, but at least I'm not ignorant/moronic/deluded enough not to see the difference between PUBLIC displays of affection and PRIVATE displays of affection - such as home. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
November 7, 200718 yr Its not like a hug means anything now. Most females hug others for little reason now. Which brings me to my next point. Any girls in here wanna hug me? Back on topic.. apparently the rules are "NO AFFECTION".. now what implys as "affection" and what not are apparently decided by the school board AKA "There opinion" You can pretend im a girl. The article is just idiotic. How can the admins there not see this is beyong stupid?! -.-
November 7, 200718 yr Isn't this a repost? I'm thinking so. It was tragic then, tragic now. A repost? Someone has posted this before? this is just a variation of the same posts about this kinda stuff. we get the point. School is unfair. get over it. besides in this particular case, I would be willing to bet that the administration is just using the public affection rule to get these girls because of their suspicions that they've been doing something else. I mean the story is only providing half the story, so we can't make any judgments yet.

It's considered a gang symbol. well today at 11:30 am 14 years ago i was born.. wo0t!!!At 11:30 you should start holding your head underwater wo0t!!!Stop acting such a moron.
November 7, 200718 yr Oh, they did not just do that :| :( :( Hug and spread the love!! :D You can get people in trouble by preaching that...just a warning. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!

Then in the sixties came the beatles with "i wanna hold your hand", the nineties had Nine Inch Nails with "I wanna F*ck you like an animal!". And that was 13 years ago. Hey man, don't forget Wish. "Gotta listen to your big time hard line bad luck fistf*ck" But yeah, this is just ridiculous. No affection? Doesn't that mean a teacher is disallowed from what, patting a student on the back for doing well? That's just silly. Reminds me of some article in the paper about ridiculous old British laws that are still officially on the books. Apparently it's illegal to die in parliament. Be warned!
November 8, 200718 yr This reminds me of Fairly Oddparent's alien dude from Yugopatamia who cant take hugs. (Or any other sweet things for that matter) 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down!
November 8, 200718 yr I might not agree with the rule, but at least I'm not ignorant/moronic/deluded enough not to see the difference between PUBLIC displays of affection and PRIVATE displays of affection - such as home. Is there really a difference? I can't see anything wrong with either one.. Who cares if other people can see you hugging? Reality is hundreds of times more beautiful and more interesting than delusions. Fairy tales just tend to be easier to follow than the wonderful intricacies of life.
November 8, 200718 yr Unbelievable, the rules people invent to keep them from thinking about the difficult and more important problems.

November 8, 200718 yr Author Unbelievable, the rules people invent to keep them from thinking about the difficult and more important problems. I can see a girl writing in her Diary now.. "Today we have a hard math test to take.. I think i'll get out of it by running up and hugging everyone!" Hugging is affection, but to mark it as wrong in a public display is stupidity at its best. If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me
November 8, 200718 yr Unless she was rebelling. Right on, sister. -.- Yes! Good thing they don't come to Finland... seriously, everyone (Except for these idiots) knows that girls hug. Let us take a moment to use various forms of profanity. (Kind of like the 1 minute of silence thing)
November 8, 200718 yr Next they'll be saying ManBearPig is breaking through imagineation land through handshakes.
November 8, 200718 yr Wow. at my school I'll be walking in the hall and see people "sucking face" in the lobby. And they don't get in trouble. America (I'm american btw) is a pretty weird country. omming from a American <--- (me), America Sucks. America in and of itself doesn't suck, its the morons in it. Americans, for some reason, decide to get high and go vote for whatever, and choose an incoherent moron who cannot make clear rules and is hypocritical (unless they never hug their husband/wife) Really, how stupid can humans get. I think we might hit the negative IQ's soon.I really, really think we have. Examples: Someone in my spanish class pointed to a window and asked if it was a door. Later, she was asked to say the number that comes before 49 in spanish. she said 52. In english. I got a detention for breaking up a fight. Later the principal said I was in trouble for "not taking action". What bugs me more, is that there were at least 3 bystanders there. None of whom were taking action.
November 8, 200718 yr Who cares.. its just one stupid school in a million. Of course something stupid like this is gonna happen somewhere..
November 8, 200718 yr Next they'll be saying ManBearPig is breaking through imagineation land through handshakes. Fail This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
November 8, 200718 yr Author Who cares.. its just one stupid school in a million. Of course something stupid like this is gonna happen somewhere.. I don't think there is 1 million schools in the world. And you justify this act by saying its a minority? Humm.. lets see your stance on people innocently getting murdered.. Who cares.. Great, hopefully it will happen to you one day and i'll be saying comfortably on a forum saying "who cares". Awesome world we live in. If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me
November 8, 200718 yr Someone's changed their tune  This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
