June 17, 200818 yr Bloodkay, i'm pretty sure i dont want to have to go around cutting my own yews if i want to level fletching or something on my new pure. But, what you think is a decent thought. Besides, now that merchanting got owned trade limits exist nobody will find a way to level there account without mad amounts of money to start with. June 18, 200818 yr I myself miss the cheap food, cheap potions, cheap bones, cheap everything tbh. When has deflation ever been anything but good? As long as one neccesary item is cheaper, all items linked to it (And all higher level equipment is linked to prayer pots and food) will become cheaper. Hence, deflation hurts nobody.

Deflation hurts the providers of said materials. You pay us less, thus we make less money (boohoo, right?). If I were into combat or skills the require more money than they make you, I'd be in the same boat as you guys. But I'm not, I'm into Woodcutting and Mining myself, always have been. I was never making any big cash back when bots were running the show, but now it seems that I've been cut a break. I said this before, the tables have turned. Before, it was everyone else who profited from lower prices in raw materials, and the gatherers who suffered because prices only got lower and lower. Now it's everyone else who suffers from high prices, and us gatherers who profit from it. Everyone was too dependent on bots, and yes this inflation isn't all good either. There should be balance in the end, or you'll all just have to get used to spending a lot or getting the stuff yourself :P Taking a Playstation 3 break.

Again, in theory.
July 4, 200818 yr The reason it was so much harder to train skills in F2P is because of the bots! No they're gone it is much easier to train! Espically woodcutting and fishing. Defintely a bad thing!
July 14, 200817 yr I think that Bots were bad and somewhat annoying. However, they were a necessary part of RuneScape. They kept prices managable. Construction helped to keep inflation down, and now the removal of autoers caused extreme inflation. My Blog - Fishing 82/99

Bots kept prices low for everyone and made activites like cooking, pking, fletching and rune crafting much more enjoyable for the masses. A REPLACEMENT?Ok picture this, they replace your yew and magic trees with a tree that if you attempt to cut it alone your axe breaks, if you cut it with a group as soon as you get a log you get a skull on your head, all the other woodcutters attack you and you cant log out for 3 minutes.Bounty hunter and tournaments were not a replacement, they are garbage.

July 15, 200817 yr All of us have seen bots, most of us h8 bots and some of us have bots! BAD PART OF BOTS The only things which i can think of what are bad abouts are: - I think people who own bots are people who don't want to play rs properly and want to get money easy. Thats why we should report them and i don't mean reporting all bots in draynor village doing tree cutting or in catherby doin fishing i mean just 1 or 2 every time ur see one. - For people who use aussie world they always on thore world both on member and free. - Also when ur wooodcutting Bots are usually really high so people who start off in willow yew etc.. it's very hard to get logs and you have change world regulary to not get bots on the world. - Bots bring down the price of lobs, swordies, sharkes, willow, yews etc... so that the items is cheaper so that the seller doesn't get alot of money for his hard work. GOOD PART OF BOTS there is only two good things about bots which are: - The people who own bots get more stuff so that they can sell it and make money (Thats if you own which most of us don't). - When buyin stuff it is much cheaper because bots have brung the price down. THE SCORBOARD Bots are bad:8 In Between:1 Bots are good:0 Plz post so that you can tell what you think of bots and you agree with me :thumbsup:All bots do is cause bad. If you ask be there only for people who are to lazy to go kill some dragons. I mean come on you got to use a bot to get money? That just ruins the hole point of a game. What kind of game is it if you don't earn your money and levels. This is the same thing as when websites sold gold people really did buy it because there to lazy to work on a game to get the money. Frankly its not that hard to make money. You just have to do some searching on the internet to find out how to make money. So to me Bots are Bad. Currently Leveling Slayer and StrengthRS Youtube Channel: WhitephionixLPP
July 19, 200817 yr BAD -Bots aggravate players -Consume resources, take away from real players -Make buyers spend more then neccessiary -Make selling harder, difficult to find customers -Create and excessive ammount of useless characters -Take up worlds -Greatly influence prices (rise and fall) EVEN though bots may have helped prices drop; it still wasn't a gain for any real player in Runescape. only 2 skills below level 50 :)
July 19, 200817 yr i hate bots there the worst thing that was ever on runescape they ruined the game they took the wild out because of bots and other rwt and the people who rwted quit and thought that the game just got boring and denied that it was their fault that the joy of the game was taken away
July 22, 200817 yr I kinda liked bots. They made prices low, and processing skills actually made money. But they always stole my ores and logs (very annoying at low levels). I'm a diy player, though, so I never really traded with other players (before the G.E.), I always mined the ores I needed to smith, or cut the logs I wanted to fletch. This was easy when I was gaining a level every 10-30 minutes, but now that it takes hours... I'm not too keen on gathering all that stuff myself. Anyway, I'd never use a bot, and I always report the ones I see (none any more!). First skill to 70...
August 5, 200817 yr Bots are bad. Period. There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.
August 7, 200817 yr cant be many bots now surely with all the random events and such ? Joined RS Dec 24th 2004.99 Hunter 14.08.09 10084th99 Cooking 17.06.11 188188th << Drum and Bass
August 8, 200817 yr If we count only bots, not the RWT that ensued, bots = RuneScape heaven. Low, low prices for some stuff, yet you could still make money in certain skills or with certain methods that bots didn't affect, or just to a lesser extent *coughminingcough*. The problem here is that everyone just thinks of them as bad because they were a tool for RWT. I see this topic as a discussion of whether bots themselves were good... with little to no RWT involved... in which case I must say that bots rocked. I hope I don't see anything wrong. You're being watched.
August 12, 200817 yr Definitely a bad thing. It defeats the whole object of the game. People who have spent ages and ages skilling and making money would have just wasted their time when they see someone whos got it without putting any work in at all. All it does is annoy people and Runescape would be a much better place without them. - Rem. : Please visit our forums !! Click the link!! August 13, 200817 yr bots are cheating, plain and simple "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
August 15, 200817 yr Bots don't serve to make good in any way. One of the coolest parts of Runescape is the satisfaction you get when you gain a level. Not so with bots. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <3
August 15, 200817 yr Bots are bad. Period. End of story. I absolutely hate them. I won't even go into detail why...but they're just so unfair and just a way of cheating.
August 17, 200817 yr bad they clog up all the best wcing spots, and are wrecking the game the only good thing about bots is that theyre funny when they get owned by a random.
