Correction, the remanants of his body would try to fight it (and loose due to lack of cardiac/respiratory activity) and the mind of that person would be tortured inside whatever was left of the brain, unable to die due to the mutation refusing to die.

Okay, that list mostly has superficial differences, which aren't due to mutation.

 

I agree. Half zombies and armoured zombies are likely, since they take over a hosts body. A torso zombie would actually be rather dangerous, since it has the element of surprise.

 

Speed and poison... Not so much.

If the virus produced a poison, it still wouldn't be able to spit it or anything... And if the zombie bites you or scratches you, poison isn't going to matter anyway, since you're going to get turned into a zombie.

A poison zombie should be able to throw pieces of rotten flesh, and since the virus needs fluid contact only the poison should get trough the skin.

A speed zombie would be like a zombie with an adrenaline boost.
