Pretty good Christmas this year. I got "Halo: Contact Harvest" (the only thing I asked for, lol), an ipod nano (didn;t see that coming at all), assorted jams and jellies <3: , Homer Simpson pajamas lol, winter coat, some clothing, "The Office" inspirational calendar :XD: , an alarm clock, and perhaps the best: Pez, like 20 packs <3:<3: . You might say I'm "addicted". I've been "clean" for over a year, but now....I'm probnably going to be back to 2 packs a day lol. After the opening of gifts, I went to the movie theater and saw "I am Legend". Pretty good. Came home, did some random nothingness for a while, then had dinner. It started, of course, witht he Airing of Grievences..oh wait, wrong holiday. We had lobster tail and king crab legs, with the ultimate dessert...Pie.Then we kicked back and watched 2 out of 7 or so hours of "The 10th Kingdom", a miniseries (which i;ve already seen...don;t remember why we rented it again), and now my parents went to bed whilst I stay up to plan my invasion of Canada *ahem* I mean browse the internet and do harmless activities.

This thread is going too much on the pure materialistic side. I'll then post a little about our customs here in Costa Rica. Here, most people do have these typical Christmas trees, which get adorned with lights and baubles, just as in other countries.

However, we also have another custom here, brought from the Spaniards in colonial times. We build a small representation of the Nativity, usually out of clay figurines and tree wool.
