What makes you happy?

Figuring out a Physics problem that's been bothering the hell out of me.

Doing a Tricking move right, especially for the first time (even if it's really rough on the first one done correct). First time I landed a ground-level front flip, it was enough to keep me ecstatic for a week.

Good music. [goes well with Tricking]

Kicking someone peoples' [bleep] at Ghost Recon 2, especially if they're some arrogant little 14-year old prats. Nothing like shutting the opposition down with a 25-6 personal score in Sharpshooter at Shoreline :-w . [k245 btw]

Gettin' my frikkin' homework done.

Learning about something that interests me, this year being Quantum Physics, Kanji/Nihongo, and Latin (which I know, but am learning more of to properlly use the language).

And of course, currently the best of 'em all, the 24-year old beauty co-worker with looks past a 10 and a personality even higher flirting with me and making me want to go to work sometimes for no other reason than just to see her  .

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

There is no point on relying on big events to boost your happiness, because these events only happen rarely. On the contrary, to be happy you have to learn how to see the small good things that happen around you. A rainbow, a specific grandpa of mine going on well after breaking his hip, some songs I like, hanging out with friends, reading a good book.

^ Yeah, because if you learn to appreciate the small, common things you'll be happy for long periods of time. :)

That's my motto. And also to appreciate your friends and family. Those kinds of things, plus the occasional big thing will really get you feeling good. I feel so alive and completely wonderful when I'm happy. Happiness rules. <3:

I'll be over the moon once I learn the kip-up. Hell, I'm happy just trying. Only started in earnest this weekend, but hey.

Being around good friends suffices to make me happy, though.

And she was my English teacher last year- that's why she came up to talk to me :P .

Bleh you. If you can't appreciate a rainbow, most probably you're just some sort of cynical, pessimist guy. :XD:

There's many things that put a smile on my face. In no particular order...

* Celtic scoring a goal !

* My fiancee telling me she loves me (sorry for the yuck factor) ;)

* Driving with the windows down on a sunny day (kinda rare in Scotland)

* Leaving the cinema after watching a really good movie

* The scent of an Indian curry when I'm absolutely starving ;)

* Gaining a level in RS (doesn't happen very often now)

When something made me very sad (such as the breakup with my gf after 2 years recently), then I'll still have alot of fun when I'm with my friends, mostly with Metal heart6 (not saying his irl name here :P).

We just make our own fun, smoke some pot, keep busy with all kinds of things, watch movies & southpark..

That's what makes me happy when something made me sad, friends!
