December 4, 200718 yr Im 100% sure that jagex WILL ruin wilderness + the next year will start with getting rid of tradeing.
December 4, 200718 yr So many assumptions are made. The biggest one is the assumption that the wildy will somehow be removed. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! (give my guide a read :^_^: )
December 4, 200718 yr Speculation does nothing but puzzle everyone. For the sake of our sanity, PLEASE, wait for the damn updates! Tell me that when the majority of my theory is correct. And what do we do when it's proven COMPLETELY wrong? Can we laugh?
December 4, 200718 yr Andrew: I got an idea to stop RWT! Paul: Omg, what? Andrew: We should remove staking, remove the wilderness, remove trading, remove dropping, remove deathpiles, and add cute little minigames to make up for it! Paul: *Gasp* You are genius!!!! 2480+ total
December 4, 200718 yr What I expected from this thread: [cabbage]ty whining about jagex ruining rs. What I got from this thread: [cabbage]ty whining about jagex ruining rs. Why not quit if every update makes the game worse for you. I bet that not many people (if any at all) will try to stop you.

December 4, 200718 yr Whining, whining, whining .. and also personal insults... Can't you people just GROW UP and stop posting pointless threads based on someone's bad dream? Well i got used to everyday whining AFTER updates, but i doubt i'll get used to whining BEFORE any update. All you know, that there WILL be gravestone and that it will appear when you WILL be holding items (so you need to actually lose something to make gravestone appear) - that means that there WON'T be thousands of gravestones all around runescape.
December 4, 200718 yr wow just wow Applause . I bet you shouldn't try gambling. Your comebacks are pathetic. That's fine, you won't need them when you'll obey to your superiors' orders. 2480+ total

Flame wars always are interesting, makes up for a change from the cold wars. Though I don't plan to go into a flame war, it's pointless, and I wouldn't have much of a competition. TUBA made a really stupid statement earlier, and he got flamed for it. Maybe he'll learn his lesson next time. Though I'm probably not a good example to follow. :P 2480+ total

December 4, 200718 yr i agree with everything u said and its quite obvious after reading bts dec that this is the case.. next month: no more death piles outside of rs woohoo cant wait does any1 wanna go on strike against rs
December 4, 200718 yr If you die while holding any items, you will reveal the fourth of our updates this month. A gravestone will temporarily appear on the spot where you perished, which can be read and admired by passers-by. It will even be possible to purchase increasingly impressive gravestones, all the way up to the ominous 'Angel of Death'. What does this say? Gravestone: -will appear only when holding items. -will be tamporary -can be PURCHASED (something like construction). I don't read a word about gravestone to be there INSTEAD of a loot.
December 4, 200718 yr well, i think that there should be different wildy rules. teleing from everywhere. things like that to save noobs from loosing their full bronze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg! it's actually like the end of the world for a noob who looses full iron in the wilderness when he doesn't know what's happening. then a random lvl 80 will come along and kill him while he is busy prospecting the lovley rune rocks. i can see it now: -noob goes over to the rune rocks, talking busily to himself... -he says -hey! some wierd looking rocks! -then he notices lots and lots and lots of gravestones around the rocks... -oooooooooooooh... he says to himself. -then another lvl 50 appears and kills him. -noob reappears in lummy, without his full bronze! END OF WORLD FOR NOOB... the gravestone thing was a bit random. imagine the carnage after a full out clan war... gravestones covering every square of the area... drops on the ground, and a noob walks by and picks up someones random dropped ddp++ and other things... abbysal whips and rune platebodies... all that stuff is now in the noobs inventory. and he sells it all for about 10k. END OF WORLD FOR THE PUBLIC... d drops/ legs(0) chain (0) axes (0) skirts (0) meds(0)/ visage! (0)/ rings (0)-My Blog! Don't forget to post!

Andrew: We should remove staking, remove the wilderness, remove trading, remove dropping, remove deathpiles, and add cute little minigames to make up for it! Paul: *Gasp* You are genius!!!! Removing staking has been justified already. The rest is you making biased assumptions from baseless speculations. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! December 4, 200718 yr Congratulations! You're a tool! There is nothing in the BTS that really suggests that Wildy PK will be taken out, all they are doing is adding 2 new PvP based minigames. It's like saying that (prior to it's release, obviously) Impetsuous Impulses will replaces hunting, but it hasn't.
December 4, 200718 yr Removing staking has been justified already. No, actually, it has not. Many people have repeatedly made the valid point that RWT in the duel arena could have been stopped through a staking limit that would have still allowed stakers to do what they enjoy. There hasn't been any response from Jagex on this, nor a single valid counter-argument that I've seen in the last 2-3 weeks since the ridiculous change was made. I hope you're not since IF you are... You just lost the game. If you didn't get the point of my posts... Well read them again and again till you manage to use some of that smartass head of yours to understand the DEEEEEEEEEEEP meaning behind those words! If you wasn't serious... Damn that was a good show 9/10.
December 4, 200718 yr A lot of people are speculating about this. We'll see. I personally think the wilderness right now is such a disaster that it would be very difficult for Jagex to make it worse. Getting rid of the "death penalty" (losing items) would probably improve the wild substantially, drawing in many of the people who never go in now for fear of losing items. It would also get rid of PJers, looters and other people who have no business even being there.I think you have good a point there, I know I for one would go pk if all we would gain/lose is a gravestone. And if the new minigame matches people up to other random opponent where they can fight for loot then I think it is win win for everyone. December 4, 200718 yr I think that gravestones probably WILL give the dead person's loot however, it will track what was dropped and who picked it up. They couldn't track the normal way items were dropped on the ground so by simply implementing this, RWT won't use the wild anymore to sell their gold as it will be detectable. wow there is at least one sane man left on this planet no i think you couls possibly be right but also i can understand what qeltar is saying aswell discuss a combat reformation
December 4, 200718 yr Just asking, who said that just because there are gravestones that we don't drop anything anymore? Penguin Power!^The last great war of the Wilderness....Yeah, I don't have a cool signature, so the MSSW3 sig will have to do....
December 4, 200718 yr "Just asking, who said that just because there are gravestones that we don't drop anything anymore?" Ever heard of gradual change or do you just have tunnel-vision? Everyone STOP the anti-speculation as your comments are more stupid and pointless than any speculation I've seen. This chain of reasoning is perfectly logical and makes a lot of sense. Runescape IS becoming more orientated towards the younger, less capable audience, there is a lot of documentation backing that statement up, (Lummy guides, winderness ditch, warning signs etcetc). Jagex has shown that they're willing to take major steps to eliminate RWT, (stake cap) and so it is failry likely that they will take more. It is possible that they have not decided yet exactly how they are going to do this and so the Bounty Hunter mini-game may well be just one option that they are testing to see how well it is received by us, the players.
December 4, 200718 yr You are very much correct, Jagex wants to remove RWT, so they will do everything they can to do it. So far they have removed Dual Arena, tried to make trading accountable, sorted out party pete, removed all stuff from Ebay, next stop is the Wildy, gravestones are the start of a WOW based, return to body and keep all items agenda. I bet by New Year the only way you will lose items is from dieing to monsters/bosses and then they will realise people will RWT using KQ etc so they will remove that part too. Quit Runescape 10 jan 2007 - Playing again 2012
