IceBlackIce
I would like to know somethings from you 1- If you had a friend that was taking drugs would you try to convert him? And would you do the same for a friend that was smoking and had some health probs that could be directly influenced by cigars? 2- If a friend, that you know that never smoked, asked you a cigar so he could try it, would you give it to him ? *** [ END ]: You gained 1,671,000 thieving exp in 9mins 44secs. Lateralus
Do you ever wish you could go back in time and never have picked up the habit? Yes and no, I suppose. I don't regret starting at all. Not really sure how to answer this one, but it's not an absolute 'no'. Could you rephrase the first question? I'm not sure I understand. As for the second question, if a friend asks me for a cigarette I'll generally give it to them. There are some exceptions though, generally females. why are you trying to justify your use of cigarettes through this thread? I'm not trying to justify anything. As far as I'm concerned this is a learning experience for me, and hopefully for others. There's no one on this forum I care to justify myself to. What type of cigarettes do you smoke? There are some exceptions though, generally females. Why would you make an exception for a female? I should have explained the circumstances really I suppose. What I meant was I have a few female friends who after a few drinks too many might ask for a cigarette, but would never smoke otherwise. In that case, I wouldn't give them a cigarette. I don't have anything against females smoking, I quite like it sometimes actually. La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

dsavi
Aah a pro-smoker (like me) :) . I don't have any questions for you since I also smoke. In my opinion all your answers are correct. The only thing that bugs me about smoking is my terrible lungcapacity which is why I am going to stop after newyear. Anyway today smokings seems like a crime to most people *sigh* :( . Yes, thanks a lot to you and your pro-smoking friends for polluting the air and eventually running up hospital bills which everyone pays for in socialist countries like mine. Lateralus
You smoke filters only, or do you roll (Right word?) them as well? Just filters for cigarettes. I think rolling tobacco smells like homeless people. Doesn't it bother you that your body requires something that isn't necessary? This question has more or less been answered already. I don't know if you didn't pick up on it or you're just trying to be smart. Imagine you have a friend that is addicted on drugs...would you try to convince him to drop it? And would you do the same to a friend that has some health problems that could be influenced by smoking? example asmatic person. It would depend on the drug and the severity of addiction I suppose. If it was recreational use I would be a hypocrite if I recommended they stop. I would try to help them with a serious addiction. If I had an asthmatic friend I would voice my concerns about their smoking, but I don't think it would be my place to tell them to stop. La lune ne garde aucune rancune. Lateralus
What do you think of those phoney electric cigarettes, that are on the market these days. Do they actually administer nicotene? If they help people stop smoking then that's good I suppose. I like the feeling of smoke in my throat though. La lune ne garde aucune rancune. Satenza
Are L&B the ones with the sliiiiide packet? With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Mr_Putter
Can you describe the length of time and circumstances under which you became addicted? Like, how long did it take before it was habit, or how long before your body actually physically desire it. How long before this happened, and how much did you smoke during that time. Like, how long did it take before it was habit, or how long before your body actually physically desire it. How long before this happened, and how much did you smoke during that time. I've never noticed any physical addiction symptoms per se, but after the length of time I've been smoking I would say it's impossible for me not to be addicted. I've never been 'dying for a cigarette', I don't think. I started smoking a few cigarettes a day in between joints... Maybe one or two, which turned into 10 a day, which is about what I smoke currently. I would say the process of 'taking up smoking' took around... Two months I suppose. I don't know if there are physical symptoms displayed for a nicotine craving, it's always just been thoughts like 'I'd quite enjoy a cigarette just now'. I can't remember a time when I was thinking 'I NEED A CIGARETTE RIGHT NOW!!!!'. La lune ne garde aucune rancune.
