Fletching not another easy skill?

Featured Replies

Due to recent updates and changes with the G.E. yew log prices have gone up along with the prices of bowstring. If you buy your own nats to high alch yew longs or mage longs you potentially gaina net loss of about 280 ea per bow.

So do you think 99 fletching will become harder to obtain? Finally appreciated?

Don't think it got much harder, it still is incredibly fast xp compared to other skills.

Bowstrings have gone down in price due to the GE so that makes up for some of the losses of but you can still trade bows for supplies and a little cash at W132 Yanille Bank (= unofficial fletching guild).

Not harder to train, just less profitable (you do still make a profit!).

It won't be harder to obtain, it will just be more expensive.

Expensive skills are harder to obtain <.<

If you don't have the money then you don't have the 99.

You buy supplies for 1k yew longs. You finish, you trade someone for supplies + cash. Make money, and exp.

It is still a easy 99.

You can always get your own logs for free. And woodcutting with a dragon axe is quite fast if you ask me.

21 lag piles, 4 Pjs, 2 Party hat kills, 67 newbs teached.

Along with fletching, cooking has become more expensive also. Before you lose 20 gp per lob you cook, now it's somewhere between 40-50.

I'm glad all my cooking is done. And this is the reason why I'm after 99 fletch right now.

It is still a easy 99.

Currently I'm smoking the slayer joint. And compared to that joint the fletching one is quite fast.

But thats my personal opinion anyways ::'

Still easy. Just a tad more expensive.

Fletching is still a cheap buyable 99 even if yew logs rose anyway :-k

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

It is still a easy 99.

They aren't.

I don;t know about fletching, but I think the economy will balance it within a few months and you get a cheaper 99 fletching back. Still the xp is far more than you can get on any other skill, with cooking as a nice second...

About buyable skills, some of them are quite fast if you have the money, like smithing, but try prayer in f2p, yeh it is buyable but it will cost 250 mil gp+ since all you can use is bbones, till up this day Frankz is the only f2p with 126 cb (there are rumors of a second, but that I don't know).

Anyways all I further know is, that if you need money there are always was via the GE to get it.....

1288581197250-1.jpg

according to tip.it you need 98 prayer and all meelee skills 99 for 126 cb, not 97 ;)

It won't be harder to obtain, it will just be more expensive.

~ People ARE strange... ~

~Nope. It's still pathetically easy. I love Jim Morrison, btw =).~

Our_Moon.png

how is 70-99 within under 3 days "not easy"

Can you turn a profit from buying Yew Longbows and just High Alching them (assuming you purchase your Nature Runes)? I know this doesn't affect Fletching at all, but I'm trying to remember.

back in the days you could make huge profits by fletching, also because of the old stringing method and the cheap logs. I guess fletching will not be a moneymaking skill anymore, but it will still be a pretty easy skill :)

i feel so lucky that i already got 17m fletch xp  \'
