I just got back from the mall today and bought my parents a 7 Megapixel HP Digital Camera. It costed $85, basically every penny to my name, but it was so incredibly worth it. I love giving on Christmas more than anything, it feels so great. :D

December 17, 200718 yr I somehow managed to spend almost 100 pounds in three days, so nothing until i get money through on the 22nd of December. Or i could go into my overdraft, i guess. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Okay, no, seriously, what do you do :P ? The point of Christmas is to spend money where it wouldn't normally be spent- that's why cash is probably the worst gift possible, unless it's like giving $50+ dollars to a kid who's never had that much in their lives, or in general just much more cash than the person is spending on you. Basically, Xmas is just spending people's money for them, presuming the gifts you trade are of similiar value :P . Friends/family/siblings - various photographic prints its great having a craft-talent where you can make your own gifts that people will love :] saves money.
December 17, 200718 yr Hmm, mind if I ask for suggestions here? I got my nephew a toy car, a '69 Dodge Charger, hes crazy bout Dodges. Other then that, I have absolutely nothing. Needa get for my mum, my sister, my brother (very hard to buy for someone that has everything), my ex (complicated friendship, haha), and and $35 uni-sex present that we play a game with. The game is everyone has to buy a $35 gift, and then they draw a number out of a hat, then a coin is flipped to see which order you have to go in. Then you take turns chocing a wrapped present. You can chose to open it or leave it, and take someones present off them that they have unwrapped. But you can't unwrap your own one before you take someone elses and you give them the wrapped one which they then unwrap. Makes for some great fights, best to go last, sucks to go first, lol. :D
