What is the point of entering if you're not going to continue to post, thereby depriving another user who posts more frequently the honor?

 

 

 

Not to be discriminatory, but the I think the same goes for the new users with very few posts. If they come up with some amazing slogan that takes the cake, they win the rank, only to perhaps stop posting after a week as their interest in the forum disappears. I realize this is a generalization, but it is true somewhat.

 

 

 

I don't really know what could be done about it, as it would just be unfair to deprive them of the chance to win, but it defeats the purpose of the rank if they aren't around to show it.

I'm aware of the rules, it wasn't a serious entry. Just thought people would enjoy the joke.

There is no "expiration date" to picking your custom rank. So if you're on vacation when you win, are offline for a few days, or want a couple days to think about it, that's fine.

The problem with "end of the day" is that it's different for everybody ;) In fact, it's already January 11th for people in some parts of the world. So the contest ended at about the same time it began (it started at 3pm GMT-8 on January 3rd and ended at about 3pm GMT-8 on January 10th).

....so i didnt get in.....
