The green mile and Field of dreams :(

X1nPw.png

--The Ultimate RuneScape Merchanting Website --

Don't think i actually cried but i definitely got a lump in the throat after watching:

The Green Mile

American History X

Boyz In The Hood

Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.

I dunno, I'm not trying to act all tought or anything, but I just don't cry. Even during Schindler's List I didn't, I don't think I was even that close. I think I have some sort of dehydration problem, because I hardly sweat either, even during intense physical activity. I just get hotter and hotter and hotter and then faint. I suppose the closest I came was Cast Away where Wilson floated away...It was his only friend...That's the only one that I can think of that gave me a lump in throat...I was 10-11ish.

Only movie I ever cried at was when I was little, it was... My Girl. Hey, it was sad!

*goes to do pushups to stay macho*

Dreaming of that face again

It's bright, and blue, and shimmering

Grinning wide

And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes

never cried in a movie :?

but i dont see movie's the way most people do, i dont take a movie very seriously, because before i watch it, I already know it's fake, i wish i could watch movie's like most people, alot more fun i think...

^^Yeah, and im writing a book about it!^^

Bounty Hunter is nothing more than a lame ass excuse not to say there is no PKing.

I HATE JAGEX!

Saving Private Ryan and Forrest Gump probably only movies to made me cried a lot.

The ones which have brought me closest to tears:

Big Fish

AI

Bicentennial Man

I have no idea why you think you might cry over the 120 days of sodom How2PK.

I nearly cried at the end of American History X. Can't remember anymore just now though.

A friend of mine has to leave the room at one point in Armageddon, it's quite funny, we laugh at him for it :P

funny you say that about armageden, thats the sadess ending ive ever seen :?

And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid.

John Lewis is a great, great shop.

I don't know, I think shocked might be the better word. Have you seen it? And what version did you see? And what did you think of it? I orderd the BFI version, uncensored, and original screenformat, the same as the Criterion edition (but this one is very rare and very expensive since Criterion didn't got the rights for the movie and had to stop copying). Some other versions have the sides of the cells cut off, from what I've heard/read atleast.

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

I've not seen it, but I know its content and have seen the literary equivalent.

What did you see then? And what did you think of that?

Only movies which nearly made me cry were:

Braveheart

The Green Mile

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (... the ending is powerful!)

And probably a few other movies, which I can't remember now. Never really cried though... just damn close to.

Oh yeaaah.... Big Fish got me too.

Gigil.... made me cry knowing i wasted two precious hours of my life...

~ZeLoT~

i actually teared up during the last LOTR also, mostly because it was so well made and i'm a huge fan of the books...

and i also cried during Spice World, but more out of pain than anything

160vy.png

I've never cried, but 'The Pianist' and The Passion of the Christ got me pretty close.

Btw, the Pianist was more crying out of anger. Which is what I tend to do, I very very very rarely cry out of sadness or pure emotion. Mostly out of anger and frustration.

Why did the Officer have to die!

Enemy at the Gates - also read the book it was based on.

Cast Away - Wilson! *cries* ---lmao!

Schindler's List- I almost went. we watched it in class and... yea... *cough*

Life is Beautiful - The guy was funny but he died. Just there on the spot...

I think thats one to many. Its gonna make me look like a cry baby. :(

are u talkin about the officer who helps him in hiding, give him food and sh*t, if so he should of died, his kindness to one man was nice of him but he was still a soldier of the most hated military in the world, and he must of slaughtered many, its karma being kind to one man isnt goin to guarantee him to live, karma always catches up...sooner or later

~ZeLoT~

I suppose Schindler should have been killed too instead of giving him a place in Israel.

Or if you're still talking about their military, what about Rommel? If it was true then he tried to kill Hitler and he got killed for it. Yet people still respected him, even allied generals. And he wasn't a Nazi either.

Ooh Karma...

Either you didn't get it, or ur a bigot.

I suggest you read the book or watch the movie.

I think I've seen too many movies for any emotional impact to actually set in...

I've never cried either, and I can't say I've really gotten sad during a movie either. Well, except for Star Wars I, but that's because it was lamer than I expected :(

Never actually cried but I have almost come close like with glassey eyes and this weird feeling rush through you a few times. Green Mile and Titanic seen to be common ones here. Armageddon got close for me too but not like The green Mile did.

Most recently the thing that almost had me in tears was the recent Doctor Who episode lol. anyone that watching the episode on saturday would know that for budget sci fi it was very powerful drama. Had me very close when Rose's dad was dying in her arms.

I also cried in Blair Witch Project but only because I was laughing so hard, I almost got kicked out lol.
